Donald Trump does not trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he is supportive of one thing Putin is doing on the world stage.
During an interview with "Meet The Press" Sunday, Trump told moderator Chuck Todd that he supports Putin going out and "bombing the hell" out of the Islamic State in Syria, despite that they are doing so to support Syrian President Bashir al-Assad.
"I like that Putin is bombing the hell out of ISIS, and it's going to be ISIS. I'll tell you why — Putin has to get rid of ISIS because Putin doesn't want ISIS coming into Russia," said Trump, who leads the Washington Examiner's latest power rankings.
However, Trump made it clear that he does not trust the Russian president when pressed by the host.
"I don't trust him," Trump said. "I don't trust him at all — other than we both got very good ratings the other night on '60 Minutes' 'cause it was with me and Putin. Can you believe this? So I don't know. Did I get the ratings or did he?"
"It's not a question of trust," Trump said. "We've spent now — we've spent $2 trillion in Iraq, probably $1 trillion in Afghanistan. We're in there — we're destroying our country. We owe $19 trillion, we're bogged down. Russia was bogged down in Afghanistan, meaning the Soviet Union. It broke up the Soviet Union. They're going to get bogged down, you watch."
"I would sit back and lets see what's going on," Trump said. "I'm not justifying Putin, but you watch — he'll get bogged down there. He'll be there, he'll spend a fortune, he'll be begging to get out."

We have lost any standing there due to the Emperor. Trump, the realist, knows that No ISIS means no ISIS in the US, Putin is protecting Russia from ISIS as well.
Because when Russia cements its Syria/Iran axis against Israel, the people here who failed to see it coming will just melt away . . . only to return and complain when things in the ME do not go in the US' direction.

Both you and Trump think Russia gives a rat's ass about ISIS. Russia wants to prop us Syria and get a warm weather port. They could care less about the ISIS in Iraq.
Well my question is why has Russia took out a ISIS training and command center if we have supposed to be bombing them unless the fairy boy and McCain have ben bombing Assad forces which would make it another war against another country.
So long as Russia takes out ISIS and the not so moderate forces McCain has been backing then good.

Anything that is bad for ISIS is good for the USA. Thankfully Trump is smarter than the Smart People here and elsewhere who don’t comprehend this simple truth.

I don’t know what to believe when Putin is involved. And you may be right... but if that particular axis is building against Israel, then I wouldn’t rule out this Islam-loving administration being part of the sham too.

A warm water port AND prevention of any natural gas pipeline going from the ME (via Syria) to southern Europe. Russia will bomb WHOMEVER they have to in order to keep their stranglehold on supplying energy to Europe.

As far as the narrow point of Syria, Russia is there for Assad. And the flood of muslim immigrants into Europe will increase.
Russia has been in the Middle East for a very long time, just as we have. The tides ebb and flow.
Attacking Israel will unleash sufficient hell so as to make the entire region, the population , the oil and everything else there and it's oil worthless, for biblical measurements of time.
Putin most likely would like a giant straw placed into the oil, no denying that.
He also wants to open a can of WA on the terrorists, and likely has a texas holdem style game going on with the Iranians, the Iraqis, and probably a few of the lower latitude real estate holders as well.
Zero had his chance, and threw in his support to the murderous Christian slaughterers, and now needs to just shut the hell up and let the local boys settle their "disagreements", with a little bit of bombing the Shiite out of them courtesy Russia.
