"I want to talk about pretending," Stephen Colbert said on last night's episode of The Late Show, which aired just a little over 24 hours after the regon shooting. "That is something that I know a little bit about."

After beginning with a display of phony humility, Stephen Colbert descends into being the creepy rat turd that we know him to be. How long will CBS hang onto this loser?

I think we approach a time when "ad hominem" is actually a viable strategy:
"Your argument is invalid because you are a Liberal. I win."
I don't care to discuss anything with these people. I know I'm right and I know they are wrong. So neither persuasion nor "winning" the argument really matter. "You are a Liberal: you've lost this argument."

Liberal elites have created an environment that encourages hatred of Christians.

If you want to talk about pretending, lets stop pretending that gun-free zones actually make us safer. They are an epic fail and need to be eliminated.

So, basically - Stephen Colbert is OK with Obama's War On Christians, is that it?
Why does Colbert hate Christians so much?
Is he like, a secret devil-worshipper, or something? A Muslim?

The common denominator in every single thing wrong on earth today is liberalism. I defy to find one human involved issue that was not started, exaggerated, worsened or perpetuated by a liberal.
One.

I don't think Colbert will last more than two years. Unlike Johnny Carson and Jay Leno - who both lasted many years - Colbert is putting politics right at the front of his agenda. This immediately loses conservatives and most independents, which comprise 60-70% of his potential audience.
This leaves him with liberals, and liberal political junkies in particular. That is a small base upon which to build, and even most liberals don't want to get worked up about politics at 11:30 p.m. - they want to wind-down with a few laughs.
