Presidential candidate Jeb Bush made an eyebrow-raising comment in the wake of the Oregon school massacre -- saying "stuff happens" in response to a discussion about gun violence.
Bush called the shooting in Oregon "heartbreaking," and said he also had challenges that he faced during his tenure as governor of Florida.
"Look stuff happens, there's always a crisis and the impulse is always to do something and it's not always the right thing to do," Bush said at the Conservative Leadership Project in Greenville, South Carolina, referring to taking away rights.

Very likely his “47 %” comment.
Bush
Meh
Watch the video, not the headline. He is absolutely correct.
Well, the problem is: The media WANTS Jebbie to “succeed” (and beat the other repubbies (but no democrats) so THEY won’t let it “become the 2016’s “47 percent” UNTIL “they” need it to defeat him.
Yes, I despise Jebby for his betrayal.
BUT I think in this sense, it sounds to me like he’s just saying, don’t come up with idiocy to disarm normal people because this nut went on a jihad against Christians.
He knows Obama, as usual, is milking this for everything he can.
It’s hard not to form the impression the Governor Bush really has no interest in running for the job of president. He comes across as lazy, silly & listless. I seen him do an interview at a local Boston TV station & admit that he smashed Trump’s hand as hard as he could in the last debate because he was angry about how Trump talked about his family. Strange guy.
Go Yahoo! Take Bush’s comment out of context and destroy him!
Well... he is correct on this point.
Things DO happen, and no one can control them.
But - you CAN mitigate a situation and lessen the slaughter if you are armed - much more so than if you are unarmed.
And since that was a “gun-free zone” - which didn’t work too well - the outcome is what it is.
“Look stuff happens, there’s always a crisis and the impulse is always to do something and it’s not always the right thing to do,”
I actually agree with that statement in it’s full context. But you ain’t getting my vote Bush III.
Sheesh, and they think Trump is insensitive?
Stuff happens, and then you go home to Miami.
Yahoo is the worst media outlet out there....if you can eve attach the word news to it.
Genius, sheer genius. We’ve misjudged him. I used to give him the benefit of the doubt as to being somewhat intelligent.
What a comment.
I can’t stand Jeb Bush and I’ll never vote for him under any circumstances, but he’s actually right for once.
There are tons of murders all over no one says anything about. Then a shooting occurs, the media salivates, the liberals yell gun control and some POS gets famous.
Useful for the dems. He could have said anything else less demeaning.
He was here in Greenville and I never even saw it reported on our news. Maybe because we’re expecting a foot of rain.
That may be true. On the other hand, he’s already such a zombie ,they may want him off stage so they can push Kasich to beat the conservatives.
