Atta Pope. His one decent gesture in this whole waste of time trip - and he walks it back.

Getting tossed in jail for defending your religious convictions is not something Francis finds objectionable. People think that as the Pope matters of faith and morals would be front and center in his heart but like all liberals, politics above all else.

Saw this coming. Can’t piss off the Pope or the Gaystapo. The latter has much disposable income that the church could use for the ‘common good’ of course.

Francis is not my favorite pope, but I smell Vatican underlings getting bombarded by liberal outrage and wanting to protect him from the conservative part of his soul. They think they are doing the Pope a favor, but the coverup is always worse than the crime—especially if the “crime”
isn’t a crime in the first place.

Sorry, I don’t buy the “blindsided” story. It’s like saying the President was blindsided by meeting on his schedule — sorry, like the President, the Pope has multiple handlers and they don’t allow a meeting to occur that they don’t want to occur.

Said it before and I'll say it again - this Pope is a leftist. As with all leftists, his politics is his religion and his religion is his politics.

Anything else is secondary, or only to be referenced if/when it can help advance the leftist agenda.

And, yes, I'm Catholic.

This makes no sense to me. Pope Francis had to be the one seeking to meet Kim Davis, the average person just can’t get a meeting with the Pope.

“Cupich in essence told CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine not to read too much into it”.

The only thing we can absolutely believe is leftist Cupich would not have walked across the street to meet with Davis. With that aside, you just don’t meet with the pope. He wanted to see this woman and he did. End of story. The adoring liberal media need to accept the fact that their hero is a Catholic and is CHANGING NOTHING IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Ssssuuuuurrrrreeeeee. Yeah, people who live three states away easily have access to the Vatican Embassy and the Pope. They just walk in off the street to shake his hand whenever he’s in town. /sarc

Absotively correct, I gave him props for that.

Blindsided by Christian values. I read my Bible every evening, was just reading last night in the first couple chapters of Acts, Peter and the gang worshipped in houses, sharing everything, never any mention of funny hats, nobody addressed Peter as The Holy Father, if anybody had, Peter would have certainly rebuked them.

We are talking cult here, sorry folks.

Did the left’s hatred of conservative Christians encourage the killer yesterday?

How could the pope have been “blindsided”? Isn’t he supposed to be GOD on earth or something? Isn’t he supposed to be infallible? Isn’t he supposed to be omniscient? If God-on-earth, and omniscient, how could he possibly have been blindsided? It would be impossible, as “omniscient” and “blindsided” are mutually exclusive. Oh... wait... maybe he’s just a guy.

Bishops and priests are falling over themselves to assure their gay friends that the meeting with Davis means nothing.

Cupich was hand-picked by Donald Wuerl, the notoriously gay Cardinal, who was for years the secretary of the notoriously gay, teenager-abuser John Cardinal Wright. Cupich’s every word and action hints that he is gay. Cupich bends himself into a pretzel in every interview not to say anything offensive to abortionists, gay activists, etc.

He’s walking nothing back. The meeting wasn’t what Mrs. Davis is painting it to be. She was merely part of a larger group in attendance.

The pope is a moral coward.

He had the opportunity to defend Christianity and instead chose to lecture us about global warming and capitalism.

What a colossal disappointment.

How about that much hailed unscheduled meeting with the Sisters of The Poor ? Is the “Vatican” and Cupich going to walk that back ? Disgusting !

Cupich is evil and was made abp of Chicago over the head of Vigano and the USCCB, which didn’t even have him on the list for George’s post. He was also personally appointed by the Pope to the Synod , and is on his way there now (this interview).

I think Abp. Vigano is going to receive a bit of the Pope’s famous “mercy” pretty soon. The Pope and his gay henchmen are obviously pretty angry about this.
