Only a day after Donald Trump announced that he was boycotting Fox News— and after Fox News announced they had cancelled him first– the network has announced that they will enter talks with Trump to discuss his concerns.
Below is the full statement, provided to Mediaite by a Fox News spokesperson:
Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes and Donald Trump spoke this morning and plan to have a meeting next week to discuss their differences of opinion regarding Fox’s coverage of Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign. Ailes will be joined by senior Fox editorial executives. Mr. Trump believes he has been treated unfairly in certain instances. FOX News has held every candidate in this race to the highest journalistic standards throughout our coverage. We believe a candid meeting about our differences is required and that any misunderstandings can be handled without compromising those standards.
Trump, on the subject of health/Obamacare said flatly ‘Sorry Conservatives”. My statement is true. It does not matter one inch if we get to Obamacarelike healthcare with Barry or Donald. Trump did not propose anything near a free market system. He said EVERYONE MUST...MUST be taken care of.
He’s releasing his tax plan next week. Like his other policies, it will be posted on his website.
I have learned MORE in this past half hour of OAN news that I would have all day on ABC, NBC, CBS, or any other channel..

Like them or not, every other candidate would be clicked off before they could open their mouths. People stay to listen to Trump. That counts for something.

Buckeye- as a political junkie, I usually have a “sense” of how things are going to go re an election, but this one has has me stymied. I don’t know how this is all going to end re the nomination. I am hoping it is Cruz, but something tells me this will not be the case.
I am not looking forward to the next year. It is going to be brutal.

Trump was given an opportunity to talk foreign policy and the only thing he could come up with was a rehash of Hillary’s reset button....except of course this time they would ‘naturally’ respect him.
Stop blaming the others for not allowing trump to talk substance. He by far had the greatest mic time and he said nothing.
