Only a day after Donald Trump announced that he was boycotting Fox News and after Fox News announced they had cancelled him first the network has announced that they will enter talks with Trump to discuss his concerns.
Below is the full statement, provided to Mediaite by a Fox News spokesperson:
Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes and Donald Trump spoke this morning and plan to have a meeting next week to discuss their differences of opinion regarding Foxs coverage of Mr. Trumps presidential campaign. Ailes will be joined by senior Fox editorial executives. Mr. Trump believes he has been treated unfairly in certain instances. FOX News has held every candidate in this race to the highest journalistic standards throughout our coverage. We believe a candid meeting about our differences is required and that any misunderstandings can be handled without compromising those standards.
Thank you so much!!!
I pay for netflix and Hulu so why not? Right!!!
I just love FRiends!!!
You don't know what I "believe", so I'm already proving you wrong by responding. You might want to proof read your remarks before posting to avoid embarrassing yourself.
Yes praising the liberal parasites in the media has worked so well for GHW Bush, Dole, GWBush, McStain and Romney. Why do you want to make nice with people who are patently obvious, out to get you? No wonder the Republicans keep getting their asses kicked. The media is the democrats and the democrats are the media, there is no difference and FNC is no different.
For the record I am a Cruz supporter, but Trump is drawing out the GOPE liberals here and through out the media and political world which is great.
It’s whats best in life.
I noticed that too. I thought it was significant.
Reagan was the only politician I trusted since I started shaving.Cruz is the second, with reservations. Main beef is H1-b.We don’t need any immigrants until we assimilate the 25 million we now have. Cruz is 80% for me, and I still want him over the others. He has been frozen out by the entire MSM. Hard to overcome this.
Also, this morning Trump spent a long time with Alyson on CNN and even more time with Morning Joe. The interviews were pretty good interviews.
Another famous business channel had a very interesting poll. It stated that 72% of Americans believe that the US aint what it used to be.
If Trump wants to kick ass then he needs to demand they get rid of Lowry and the gelatinous Kanned Ham.
They will never get rid of Kelly, but he can probably get her kicked off the panel at the next debate.
I agree with what you're saying, Trump is a deeply flawed candidate in spite of the fact that he's doing the conservative movement a great service by A. putting immigration and the national question at the forefront and B. helping to sink Jeb's candidacy.
However, let's not forget that Reagan wasn't exactly flawless either - while we're on the subject of immigration, recall that he effectively granted amnesty to illegals in 1986 (and when challenged by members of his own party, he said that he couldn't see what the big deal is).
The bottom line is that if you want a perfect candidate, you'll be waiting a long time. The question is whether there's a candidate who is both electable and acceptable. Cruz is certainly acceptable but isn't able to build a mass following. Trump is able to build a mass following but has said and done some things that ought to trouble conservatives. As to the rest of the pack, they're generally even worse than either on both counts.
Yes - he needs to step up his criticism of the establishment RINOs in Congress - especially McConnell & Boehner!!!
“Class will tell.”
Who’s to say all of this isn’t a farce? Something about all of it just doesn’t seem right. It hasn’t from the start and it sure doesn’t seem right now. If something looks to good to be true it probably is. It’s like watching a scripted reality show.
FOX still has Karl Rove, maybe they could give him more airtime.

The one redeeming quality I always felt Trump had was the belief that at least he would put together an incredible cabinet and incredible advisers. But when I see him act the way he does when someone criticizes him, it leads me to believe he will surround himself with nothing more than yes-men. That in combination with the fact that he knows very little about being a commander in chief and very little about most things outside business, should bring pause.
For a man who is so celebrated for his boisterous personality, he has some incredibly thin skin.
I cancelled Hulu months ago because I got sick of having to watch the commercials AND pay Hulu monthly. Found the (few) programs I liked elsewhere. Cuts down on incessant TV this way.
National Review fire the head Republican of their Republican propaganda rag? Not gonna happen. NR gave up it’s conservative bone-fides long ago, now it’s just another Republican Party mouth piece.
If someone calls him a name or says something derogatory about him, he goes on a rant.”
You don’t really believe that, you write down something you don’t believe.”
