Donald Trump put NBCs Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie on the defensive Monday during a live telephone interview when he called the network out for promoting a CNN poll over an NBC poll because the billionaire had a smaller margin in the CNN survey. The exchange occurs at minute 4:36 of the 5:35-minute interview.

The only poll you didn't put up was the NBC poll where I'm way at the top, Im much more than double, said Trump. I don't understand why NBC is using a CNN poll, which was also a good poll, I'm leading by a lot.
Why aren't you talking about your own poll? Why are you showing a CNN poll, which is very good, but not as good as the one you put up yesterday? Guthrie acknowledged that I should have mentioned the NBC poll by name.
Trump didnt let it go. You put up the CNN poll, you didn't put up NBC poll and youre the ones that are paying for the NBC poll so I don't get it other than in the NBC poll is a very good poll for Trump.
The CNN poll, conducted in the days after the second Republican debate, found that Trump continues to lead the pack of GOP presidential candidates, but that he dropped eight points, going from 32 percent support to 24 percent. In that same poll, Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina jumped from 3 percent to 15 percent.
In the NBC poll, Trumps margin over Fiorina was much larger (29 percent to Fiorinas 11 percent) and the billionaire gained 7 points from a month earlier when that poll showed him with 22 percent support of Republicans and independents.

Trump could have said, “Obama once said to you in interview, ‘my Muslim faith’ then you corrected him and put words in his mouth. I don’t put words in people’s mouths, George. You do.”
Trump has a unique position. The media needs him more than he needs them. They get a lot ore viewers when he is on their show. They can’t bully him. He doesn’t have to be on good graces to get invited on air. He turned the tables on their game. He’s in control, not them.
Trump is dealing with the press the right way....never apologize, never back down, never give them an inch.
WINNING!!!
Well said!

Not a shark... A honey badger. Don’t even need to Photoshop the hair.
A candidate who actually supports our military instead of enemy foreign countries and millions of illegal aliens.
The entirety of the interview concerned Trump’s “negatives”, but Trump totally capitalized on it.
“Because the sample is based on those who initially self-selected for participation rather than a probability sample,...”
All this means is people who were willing to be polled, were polled as opposed to pollsters calling 15,000 people in order to get 1000 to respond as happens most times. There is as much chance those who agreed to be polled were pro as they were anti Trump.
What, exactly is your problem with this methodology?

I thought M&Ms were antidepressants.
Make a great T-shirt.
M&M’s are the good kind on anti depressants that make you fat.
Prescription antidepressants are the bad kind that make you skinny.
Bushes are “wussies”, but can the American people ever make this discernment?
If Trump can call out Megyn Kelly(not deserved, IMO) and Savannah Guthrie(well deserved), then he damn sure/and should call out Anderson Cooper for lying.
Well, I did find this from mid July when Trump was on CNN being interviewed by Cooper....
“... people don’t trust you, and people don’t trust the media. And I understand why.”
However, I still want Trump to call out Anderson Cooper in front of 20,000. That lying jerk deserves it!
