A post-debate poll finds that Ben Cason has leap-frogged over businessman Donald Trump as the candidate most Republican voters believe will win the GOP nomination.

Rasmussen Reports said that 59 percent of likely Republican voters believe that Carson will end up on top after the primary and caucus season is over next year.

He is closely followed by Donald Trump, at 58 percent. Carly Fiorina at 40 percent and Jeb Bush at 40 percent.

...Carson will end up on top...

Lindsey will most likely end up on the bottom.

“Rasmussen Reports said that 59 percent of likely Republican voters believe that Carson will end up on top after the primary and caucus season is over next year. “

And if you think that then you are the biggest retard on the planet.

But we know you are just trolling. Pretty pathetic seeing that the person you may support isnt the focus of your attention.

I was wondering that myself. How was the question worded and how we’re the answers grouped?

Trump keeps pulling in 20-30K at rally’s.

How many are going to Carly or Ben rally’s?

I don’t think there is one chance in a thousand of Carson winning the nomination. His supporters wouldn’t be able to stay awake long enough to get to the polls.

And no, I’m not a Trump fan. I’m just not sure “Ben Carson - Asleep at the Helm” will make a good campaign slogan!

“Remember, the same arguments that you use against these polls can be used the other way, too”

It’s a one point difference by a liberal polling firm, ding dong, lol. Don’t wet your pants too soon.

If 1/10000000000000000000000000000000000th of what Trump has had tossed at him was flicked at Carly and Carson, they would evaporate.

Trump has been accused of everything under the sun from racism to rape, and he still stands.

Carson and Carly are propped up by the GOPe and the press to serve a purpose that does not involve winning an election.

Not a Trump fan (Cruz for me) but even I will admit that he’s likely to be our next president. Anyone that thinks Carson will be has one hell of a tough row to hoe selling him.

Exactly my thoughts. All I could remember about Carson the other night was that he was there. Too wishy-washy on amnesty and gun control anyway.

Also seems like a very nice guy but in these times we need somebody mean enough to turn this country around.

It’s all very good as long as the GOP career professionals stay on the bottom.

Which is where they are in every poll.

to put Carson on top after his snooze-fest the other night is bizarre.

His Prince Valium routine didn't do him any good, that's for sure.

I think that Dr. Carson is a good, decent man, and there should be a place for him in the next Republican administration. However, I don’t see him as President.

oooops, but I wonder if the weight the poll the same way

However I also said I dont trust any pollsters, they all imo when push comes to shove in the end go for the dem or establishment.

Fox News had a outfit... Opinion Dynamics for years, they did the last poll before the election on Halloween when people were getting their kids ready to go out

They had the head on Fox talking about that poll afterwards, looking very sheepish he said, we wondered about the poll but released it anyway, had Kerry ahead for the first time, they were trying to push Kerry over the finish line

Just an example of their shenanigans, hey I believe they outright lie in crunch time, absolutely.

In my case I have been saying this for years, not just when it is against someone I like (sure I am happier when polls appear good for someone I like)

NBC WSJ poll for instance...Chuck Todd said years ago that he sometimes offers the wording of the questions, if that is not frightening.

They are all liars imo for the most part... I am for Trump and Cruz, I fully expect the pollsters will try to take Trump out with their dishonest polling when it`s crunch time.

If Trump is the guy at the very end against Dems, you can count on the polling showing a late surge for the Dems

In crunch time it will show a surge for the establishment over Trump to try and push Jeb or whoever across the line, you can count on both of those scenarios

Gee, guess he will be a worthy successor to President Romney, whom Rasmussen predicted as winner in 2012!!!

I agree with you Norm. Cruz is my first choice as well, but dammit unless he gets some traction and his numbers up into Trump territory, he's just not going anywhere. I think his strategy right now (non-critical of Trump, and collaborating with Trump where possible on issues they agree) is the best he can manage.

There is a vast undercurrent of pro-Trump sentiment among the American people, and I've seen nothing like it since late 1979, I remember traveling through a very rural section of North Carolina, stopped for gas at a two pump little station, and saw a huge bright red "REAGAN" sign in the window of the station, I told the man I liked that sign, and he smiled with a knowing grin and said "That man IS going to be our next President, bet the rent on it!".

Even early in the game in '79, the momentum was already flowing to Reagan, just as it is to Trump.
