Bobby Jindal: ‘Donald Trump’s Never Read the Bible’ Because ‘He’s Not in the Bible’

(CNSNews.com) – GOP presidential candidate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal took a swing at GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump during a speech Thursday at the National Press Club, labeling him a “narcissist.”

“Now you may have recently heard and seen that Donald Trump said that the Bible is his favorite book. Yet, when asked, he couldn’t even name a specific or a single Bible verse that was important to him, that had an impact on him. Well do you know why? Well it’s clear, Donald Trump’s never read the Bible. The reason we know he’s never read the Bible, he’s not in the Bible,” said Jindal.

Trump is currently under fire for remarks he made to Rolling Stone magazine in which he suggested that GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina would not be elected, because of her looks.

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?” Trump told the magazine.

Jindal also called Trump “an ego-maniac” who lacks substance.

“That may sound like a serious charge to make, but it’s something everybody knows to be true. He knows it too. He celebrates it. He says Kanye West is great. Why is Kanye West great? Because Kanye West likes Trump, so therefore, Kanye West is great,” said Jindal.

“He’s an entertainer, but he’s still a narcissist. Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak. He’s afraid of being exposed. That’s why he tells us always and constantly how big and strong and wealthy he is,” Jindal added.

“Look we’ve all met people like Donald Trump who tell us how insignificant everyone else is. We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are. Donald Trump believes he is the answer to every question,” he said.

"I hope Trump comes back with an appropriate Bible verse."

"...with the Trump of God..."
1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)

"Honor the Lord with your substance
and with the first fruits of all your
produce; then your barns will be
filled with plenty, and your vats
will be bursting with wine."
Proverbs 3:9-10 (RSV)

Yea, I can see by your post that Trump has all of the racists on the FreeRepublic. You make us all proud with your cute little racist remarks.

Racism is strictly prohibited on Free Republic. If you think my post falls into that category, please inform the owner and, if you wish, request that I be given the ZOT since I'm evidently so evil in your eyes.

In reality, real racism is non-existent here on the premiere site for Conservative activism. Having read this forum daily since September 16, 2001, I saw but one example of racist posts here on FR. That's when some leftist infiltrators evidently gained temporary control of the site and posted some offensive remarks about hussein's children during a French vacation (paid by we taxpayers) during the summer of 2009. That's it. The one and only time I've seen any hint of racism here in 14 years. Once the source was determined, the diligent moderators pulled that thread.

Furthermore, people of India are generally found to be of Caucasian decent when it comes to their anthropology. As a old white guy, all I did was mildly poke some fun at a fellow Caucasian. Consider it some un-PC humor in a jugular vein. :)

What’s the problem with all of these GOP wimps? They are attacking each other instead of going after Princess Clinton. That might make sense to Dumbo the Bedwetting Elephant but it don’t make much sense to a lot of the rest of us out here.

I was fortunate enough to meet Governor Jindal and his Wife some years back at a SRLC Event in New Orleans.

I found them to be very nice People. Bobby even included a line I told him about Marrying up when he made his Speech.

That being said, WTH does he think he is doing? He is looking like a complete Jackass. I think he is trying to become an Indian version of Lindsey Graham. Too bad.

It isn’t working Bobby. Go back to Louisiana, they need you.

As an older guy (born 1942) and as partisan of the South and its wonderful culture and values, I do like nice people. Good manners are important to me as are words fitly spoken, free of gratuitous profanity. In general, I don't care much for northern ways -- in most cases (not all) the people from that region are crude, loud and abrasive. The puts me off.

But there's been a vast sea change in the Republic since the hussein criminal gang illegally seized power in 2008. The country is in crisis and the era of niceness is over. Ordinarily a fellow like Donald Trump would not be appealing to me. But these are not ordinary times. His brashness and New York street tough is what it will take to set the Republic on the right course. In due time under his guidance, sanity will return to our nation and civility will again be the norm. Not now. I hate to say it but we need something of a thug (in the original sense of that word) to take America back.

I like Trump but aside from that Has anyone heard of his plans to return powers to the states and to reduce the size of govt. let states run education I don ‘t think he has thought about others want liberty after Obama has taken so much away. Methinks he wants to run things by himself. Until I hear more about giving rights back to the states and the people, he will not have my support. Cruiz and Walker are more in line with my thinking.

I’m a Cruz guy and I am a Native New Yorker. Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island.

Those were the days when my Older Brother used to take his .22 Rifle to High School because he was in the Shooting Club. Yes, it was a long long time ago. Long before Cuomo.

Trump reminds me of some of my Cousins and an Uncle or two. Let’s put it this way, they always called a Spade a Spade.

People think Trump is a Manhattan guy, but he isn’t.
He’s a Brooklyn or Queens Guy all the way. LOL

Never thought I would live to see an Election Season like this, that’s for sure.

Trump can’t be a” narcissist”... If he was, he would have a flaw, he has NO flaws, he’s perfect. Just ask him!!!

“I always liked Jindal, but this kind of stuff is beneath him.”

You just watch, all the GOPe sycophants will use their waning days to try and inflict damage on Trump. It's really all they were in there for anyway. But the good news is that each of them will have tarnished their own reputations being foils for the GOPe. Again, Trump has rendered a great service to decent Republicans everywhere by smoking out these turds simply by virtue of his candidacy. I just hope that at the end of the day the GOPe has their jockstraps torn and bloody.

Gilmore, The Fairy, Pataki, Doughboy and Kasich, are my picks in that order.
