(CNSNews.com) – GOP presidential candidate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal took a swing at GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump during a speech Thursday at the National Press Club, labeling him a “narcissist.”
“Now you may have recently heard and seen that Donald Trump said that the Bible is his favorite book. Yet, when asked, he couldn’t even name a specific or a single Bible verse that was important to him, that had an impact on him. Well do you know why? Well it’s clear, Donald Trump’s never read the Bible. The reason we know he’s never read the Bible, he’s not in the Bible,” said Jindal.
Trump is currently under fire for remarks he made to Rolling Stone magazine in which he suggested that GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina would not be elected, because of her looks.
"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?” Trump told the magazine.
Jindal also called Trump “an ego-maniac” who lacks substance.
“That may sound like a serious charge to make, but it’s something everybody knows to be true. He knows it too. He celebrates it. He says Kanye West is great. Why is Kanye West great? Because Kanye West likes Trump, so therefore, Kanye West is great,” said Jindal.
“He’s an entertainer, but he’s still a narcissist. Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak. He’s afraid of being exposed. That’s why he tells us always and constantly how big and strong and wealthy he is,” Jindal added.
“Look we’ve all met people like Donald Trump who tell us how insignificant everyone else is. We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are. Donald Trump believes he is the answer to every question,” he said.
Hopefully, the juveniles will wear thin as we get close to actual voting; and we can have an adult primary with those remaining.

It’s PRETTY OBVIOUS what’s going on. They’re trying to goad Trump into saying something anti-engine...to get people thinking he’s a racist. Otherwise they’d have a honky say it.

Watching Trump's praising and condemning then praising then condemning others is like sitting on the table at a ping-pong match. You could break your neck trying to keep track of all the times he doesn't say what he means and doesn't mean what he says. The most inconsistent candidate in the history of American politics.

As loathsome as Chris Matthews is, I did chuckle when lil' Piyush came prancing up to the podium for the SOTU response. The optics were bad and Piyush came off as an effeminate softie. That's not what the Republic needs in this times. A fearless fighter of liberalism is prescribed, in the mold of Governor Palin, Senator Cruz or, yes, even Donald Trump.
Why is he saying all this personal stuff? People already know who trump is, his personality, faults etc. They don’t a presidential candidate to spell it out. I used to like Jindal but this is just plain bizarre.
Trump’s a player, a payer and a prayer.

I agree. This seems quite out of character for him. Either he’s not being himself (pressure from the GOPe?) or he’s not the man I took him to be.
Oh, that’s bad, Fiji. Though half of Trump’s followers probably can’t tell the difference between the Donald and Jesus. All he has to do is utter in tremulous voice “O-h-h-h-h, B-i-l-l-y G-a-h-r-a-h-a-m” and thousands rush forward to pledge their souls.
So easily manipulated, pretty astounding.
