White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest gave reporters who questioned him about President Obamas reaction to the case:
I will just say on principle that the success of our democracy depends on the rule of law and there is no public official that is above the rule of law, Earnest said. Certainly not the President of the United States. But neither is the Rowan county clerk. Thats a principle that is enshrined in our Constitution and in our democracy.
Earnest admitted that he did not have a specific reaction about the case from President Obama, and pointed out that the legal case was ongoing.
He neglected to mention Obamas history of questionable legal decisions, which critics argue are a direct affront to the Constitution

The Nuremberg executions took place on October 16, 1946, shortly after the conclusion of the Nuremberg Trials. Ten prominent members of the political and military leadership of Nazi Germany were executed by hanging: Hans Frank, Wilhelm Frick, Alfred Jodl, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Wilhelm Keitel, Joachim von Ribbentrop, Alfred Rosenberg, Fritz Sauckel, Arthur Seyss-Inquart, and Julius Streicher. Hermann Göring was also scheduled to be hanged on that day, but committed suicide using a potassium cyanide capsule the night before.
The sentences were carried out in the gymnasium of Nuremberg Prison by the United States Army using the standard drop method instead of long drop.[1] The executioners were Master Sergeant John C. Woods and his assistant, military policeman Joseph Malta. Woods may have miscalculated the lengths for the ropes used for the executions, such that some of the men did not die quickly of an intended broken neck but instead strangled to death slowly.[2][3][4] Some reports indicated some executions took between 14 minutes to 28 minutes.[5][6] The Army denied claims that the drop length was too short or that the condemned died from strangulation instead of a broken neck.[7] Additionally, the trapdoor was too small, such that several of the condemned suffered bleeding head injuries when they hit the sides of the trapdoor while dropping through.[8]
The bodies were rumored to have been taken to Dachau for cremation, but were instead incinerated in a crematorium in Munich and the ashes scattered over the river Isar.[9] Kingsbury Smith of the International News Service wrote an eyewitness account of a reporter watching the hangings. His historical press account of it appeared with photos in newspapers.[10]
Why didn’t the judge throw Mitch Landrieu in jail?
Do as I say, not as I do.
Except Obama, Clinton, Kerry, Lois Lerner...
And Lima was full of naggers 40 years back, so God help the city now...
Wouldn’t it be grand if all those conservative legal geniuses like Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved could come up with some strategies for civil disobedience instead of obsessing over Donald Trump?
If people have to obey same sex marriage laws why don’t they have to obey immigration laws?
After reading the posting of the very State of Kentucky law, that she DID uphold, it is such that the poor clerk is filling the ‘Rosa Park’ seat, and admirably so, for Bible Believing Christian.
The Kentucky State law, calls out in the very words, “man and woman”, “male and female”, in regards to issuance of marriage licenses.
I don’t believe that this news guy at the White House has any sense at all....
Does he realize what he just said, this leaves so many comments open to lower the boom on obuma, I can’t believe he has this job, course I guess it doesn’t take any brains to work at the government anymore, look at what is leading this country and the mess it’s in!!!
That’s right, or the merchants of dead babies’ bodies for that matter. This is surreal how openly this “fundamental change” is taking place, where the left’s agenda is pushed while the right is openly persecuted. Brings to mind the climate of Spain in July 1936, just before three years of civil war between two sides that roughly parallel our current divisions...
If I didn’t think they were serious, I’d think this was satire.
Obamination is the last person on Earth to talk about ‘no public official is above the law’ when he violates the law with every breath he takes.
Not even. Only a decision not to rule.
WE ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY—which is mob rule.
We are a Constitutional Republic!
Remember our pledge:
And to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, etc
(Sorry—one of my pet peeves .)
And the remedy, per the rule of law, is for an elected public official to be fired(for the pedantic, impeached, convicted and removed from office) or otherwise removed from office, for malfeasance, misfeasance or nonresistance of their duties.
Not to be summarily imprisoned for their sincerely held religious view, especially, when according to the rule of law, an accommodation should have been sought and used if available.
This is not the rule of law in the case of Davis, this is the arbitrary rule of force and the legalization of bullying d and religious persecution.
Perhaps we could ask Mr. Putin, who says he will champion Christianity, if he could intervene?
TWB
TWB
That sums up the DC PC crowd.
I defy jugears to show us the law that she supposedly broke.
Judges cannot legislate, and no laws have been passed.
THIS coming from Obama. Words fail me!
His Arrogance should avoid saying stupid stuff like that ... lightning strikes have been known to strike liars and hypocrites!
