If people have to obey same sex marriage laws why don’t they have to obey immigration laws?
While there may be State and local ordinances permitting same sex "marriage", who passed a federal law to that effect?
No one.
The courts do not write law, they are only supposed to rule on whether a law is valid.
If the courts invalidated the Kentucky law, then there is no law, no statute to disobey, only a court ruling.
