Really? And who decides what Natural Law is? What a strange question. If you understood the last 1000 years of Christian jurisprudence, you would know that noe on decides. Natural Law is the law of nature. The law that God wrote in the heart of every human being.
It wasn't coincidental that sodomy was called "the crime against nature."

I would never had fired, fined or jailed her, but if she is refusing to issue licenses for gays because there is no KY law telling her she must do so, why not continue to do so for others in the meantime? Has she said?

Proud of yourselves, sodomites? Proud of your efforts that have landed a Christian woman in jail? Nazis.

In the meantime the same-sex marriage advocates are backpeddling in horror, stating that they didnt want her jailed over this. This is quickly turning into a political fiasco for the Democrats and Progressives. At least in KY.
I predicted that yesterday. The thought actually occurred to me that the Judge knew this might happen, and so provided the key to doing it.
Creating a public Martyr is the last thing they wanted to do. If something would provoke a backlash, that would be it.

It has nothing to do with rights.....it's about where they put their frontage. It's a sexual issue of forcing society to accept their sexual behavior. The idea they claim without marriage their 'dignity' is insulted...LOLOL...They have none...that was gone long ago...they're freaks and exhibitionists.....any gay "rights" parade is all about nudity or dressing up like freaks..this photo is mild compared to most.

Being that all KY marriage law states that marriage is heterosexual, and thus all KY marriage law is ruled invalid by SCOTUS, what law gives her authority to license ANY marriages?

The attention whores attacking this clerk would do better to go to their state house.
And this judge (whatever their agenda is) needs to calm down, and read the law there in Kentucky, before throwing around their weight like that.

Latest: 5 of 6 deputies agree to issue licenses. Davis’s son is the deputy who says he still won’t.

“If you understood the last 1000 years of Christian jurisprudence, you would know that noe on decides. Natural Law is the law of nature.”
Really? Lots of folks detect a different law of nature. I think they are lying, but as a practical matter...Kennedy, in effect, said homosexuality was the law of nature.
So do YOU get to decide, or Kennedy? You, or Ginsburg? You, or a county clerk?
If a county clerk says owning a dog is against the law of nature, do you have any recourse?
Well, in America, you do. Because owning a dog is OK under American law, so the clerk has no right to overrule it and impose her views. Why are you so quick to give total and absolute power over your life to every petty government official, unchecked by popular votes?

The government is imposing its' religious beliefs on you! Its' called secular humanism and it is a religion.Exactly, I've been saying this for a long time. These same secular humanism libs/progs would scream bloody murder for trying to shove a Christian religion down their throats but yet, don't care to realize, probably through arrogance, that they are doing the exact same thing with their godless religion.

What did she say about it?

Isn’t Kentucky a Commonwealth? Maybe someone with more info can help me out, but I thought Commonwealths within the Union stipulated their state Constitution and laws supersede the U.S. Constitution. In other words, in such a case as this, SCOTUS can rule as it may, Kentucky does not have to abide.
I’m probably wording it all wrong, hoping someone has some insight.
