“If you understood the last 1000 years of Christian jurisprudence, you would know that noe on decides. Natural Law is the law of nature.”
Really? Lots of folks detect a different law of nature. I think they are lying, but as a practical matter...Kennedy, in effect, said homosexuality was the law of nature.
So do YOU get to decide, or Kennedy? You, or Ginsburg? You, or a county clerk?
If a county clerk says owning a dog is against the law of nature, do you have any recourse?
Well, in America, you do. Because owning a dog is OK under American law, so the clerk has no right to overrule it and impose her views. Why are you so quick to give total and absolute power over your life to every petty government official, unchecked by popular votes?
If a county clerk says owning a dog is against the law of nature, do you have any recourse?
A mulsoom clerk might say so???
My goodness, you are arguing like a perfect relativist. Here. Read. Learn.

This concept has been the universal bedrock of Christian law from the scholastics up to and including the Founding Fathers. And the very POINT of natural law is be a check on the power of the state. The state is not allowed to take away what nature and God have given us.
Likewise the state has no right to declare sodomy marriage because nature and God have already defined marriage. Period. End of story.
