Donald Trump explains that he will get rid of the gangs [which is the only group he says he will deport (if you've read it) in his plan] and then says to Ramos, "You're going to like this," "I will be humane" "I want them to come back" because "I have a bigger heart than you" - explaining that he will be a good manager and after the good ones get their papers - "I want them to get documentation so that they become legal" - they can come back.

I would argue that perhaps you are mountianizing a mole hill

Actually Trump, for all his bluster, is to the Left of Walker and Cruz - which is his true comfort zone.

Re Walker: it’s been difficult with the Left, the GOP-e and Donald Trump all using Democrat talking points to move him down in the polls. We’ll have to see how it plays out. I understand your concerns. And remember, a candidate will need more than words when the rubber hits the road, they’ll need a record. Walker has that in spades.

Why do you feel it is necessary to insult his supporters?

I tend to insult ideas over people - because this is about ideas to me. And without a doubt some of his support is emotional, irrational, philosophically incoherent. Some of it is almost verbatim the kind of projection and excuses we saw in 07-08 for Obama. Those kinds of ideas need to be exposed. I never start it, and I never insult the supporters who recognize his liberal tendencies and other problems yet support him anyway. Had a lot of great exchanges with them.

Have you come up with a rationalization to do away with Cruz’s waffling, pandering performance on Megan Kelly’s show last night?

First, Cruz, who is touted as an expert on the Constitution, tried to portray those who believe the 14th amendment mandates birthright citizenship, have legitimacy.

Next, when asked a direct question about deporting children of illegal aliens, if he were president, he refused to answer the question, after repeated promptings. His non-answer, is, of course, his answer. He would not.

yeah it was a bad interview for Cruz.. he answered that like most politicians.. a non answer then tried to divert to something else.. kind of like Walker trying to decide what is the best PC answer to the anchor baby question

The question was posed as if the President will go down and say “deport this one” and “not that one” individually. The question was foolishly hypothetical. Any discussion of deportation UNTIL the border is secure is total waste of time.

How can I say that? Easy. First is common sense, but second is Kate Steinle’s murderer....who had been deported 5 or 6 times - I can’t remember - meaning he had crossed the border illegally at least 6-7 times. Thus, deportation before the border is secure is a damned waste of time and a fools errand.

No his plan does not say Mexican gangs will be the ONLY group to be deported. He told Jorge Ramos in the press conference that he wants all the illegals to go back home and get their papers ready and then come back as legals. That does not mean they will all receive papers.

He said nothing different and I follow reports and videos of him everyday.

It appears that the “media” interpreted Walker’s answer to a question and made it a headline.

Then they said he had to clarify (the media’s mistake).

So now the story becomes that Walker changed his mind.

Interesting how that works.
