From Gabriel Sherman writing for New York Magazine: When it comes to dealing with rogue states, Fox News has a firm editorial philosophy: You dont negotiate. Roger Ailes is learning that the same logic applies to a rogue candidate. Last night, Donald Trump took to Twitter and blew up the uneasy truce Ailes had brokered with him two weeks ago following Trumps attacks on Fox star Megyn Kelly after the first GOP debate.

Roger could be more effective if he shut up and just implemented policy.

She tried a stupid “got you” question on Cruz tonight and he also didn't play her game. Her question to Cruz really was to no benefit relative the core immigration — other than to create useless drama!! I was a fan of hers, but these have been cheap shots as causing media buzz and ratings!?!?

Really. It shows a pettiness and elevates her status. Don’t give her any attention-—it just encourages her. He should adopt the attitude that neither she nor any other media wag is worthy of any personal, publicly aired pissing contest.

BTTT. NewsMax, though they seem to be All Trump All the Time. Still an improvement.

Is Roger Ailes ailing? He seems detached from the significance of the Trump phenomenon. He should lay back and watch his “So You Think You Can Dance.” It beats trying to find a parking place in New York City.

Honestly, I can see that view as reasoned.
I can also see it that folks are already upset with her, and this working out to be her destroying her own chances of success at fox.
Ailes is a fool. This isn’t going to end well for FoxNews.
People just don’t need them anymore. Older people still cling to that format, but many of us left FoxNews in the dust years ago.

Kabuki theater, a manufactured “feud” designed to continue to boost FNC ratings already surpassing every basic cable network (not just news networks), every week since the debate.
Now wait til Rush says it, and know you heard it here first.

There was a time when I had Fox News on the TV as a default. I was watching Fox when 9/11 happened, I was talking to my girlfriend when I saw a plane fly into the twin towers.
Then the election came about in 2008, my guy was Duncan Hunter, a sound conservative, Hannity said he had no chance and would not mention him, same with the other guy, OReily. Then Fox wouldnt allow Hunter in the debates even though he had a few votes.
I havent watched them since and I havent listened to Hannity or OReily either. Now I watch no news unless my 12 year old daughter has the local news on.

Yes right Mr. Ailes. Trump is unelectable and therefore you will have to do what to save America that unelectability won’t accomplish without your help?

"Killer Bees". Looks about right.
What was actually more telling was that pre-debate pic with her and her assistants about to take the stage, with MK thinking she was Mike Tyson.
I don't have a copy, unfortunately.

CNN played Trump ALL night long with many of pundits being favorable to Trump. CNN has an opportunity to remake their brand and it’s fallen in their laps. If tonight was any indication they are running with it.
