From Gabriel Sherman writing for New York Magazine: When it comes to dealing with rogue states, Fox News has a firm editorial philosophy: You dont negotiate. Roger Ailes is learning that the same logic applies to a rogue candidate. Last night, Donald Trump took to Twitter and blew up the uneasy truce Ailes had brokered with him two weeks ago following Trumps attacks on Fox star Megyn Kelly after the first GOP debate.

Ailes is showing too much insularity. He has no understanding of the Trump phenomenon, and Megym starting off with two guests slamming Trump reignited the feud.

And yet she said NOTHING snarky about Trump tonight.
I only watched her to see if she would.

In other words, it wasn't a vacation-vacation. It was a "huddle room SWOT analysis of Trump" vacation.

The only response to show them - pols and urban media apparatchiks alike - who butters their bread.
TURN THEM OFF.
We have the power.

Ailes keeps this up, and his viewership is going to evaporate faster than a cup of water in Death Valley at high noon.

Trump made a tactical error reopening the feud w/Kelly. He shoud let it go.

“And yet she said NOTHING snarky about Trump tonight.”
It was the way she framed the segment on Trump kicking out the Univision reporter. The reporter was clearly being obnoxious. IMHO Trump was very gracious in letting the weasel back in and letting him ask some questions.

Whatever happened to the sense of a fair and unbiased press?

I think he will... He is playing inside Megyn’s head now, I think he will ignore her unless he is asked about her...

... attacking us for doing our job Your job, sir, is to report the news...nothing else. You have an agenda that distorts the performance of your job, as do many of those on your staff. The reporter in question obviously was on a mission the night of the debate and that target, unlike most spineless politicians, fought back. And that is why he shot up in the polls when you expected him to crash and burn. Until I hear her admit she was on a mission to discredit Trump, I refuse to watch Fox any more simply because I cannot trust what they say.

What is ailing the Roger?
It's very simple: the fat slob is being forced to watch Donald Trump beat his premiere blonde bimbo like a red headed stepchild.
That's got to hurt.

you don’t think that wending the show with the snarky comment about her hubbys birthday and her buying him a Trump tie was snarky huh?

Time to out-Fox the Roger and send him Ailing away. Roger, over and out. Faux News—failed and unbalanced.
