Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes released a statement on Tuesday about Donald Trump's renewed war on host Megyn Kelly.
“Donald Trump's surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at FOX News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise.”

On Tuesday morning Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade fired back, saying Trump is "out of control." At least 10 separate Fox News personalities publically rebuked Trump before noon on Tuesday, evidence that no one is being told to be nice to Trump from the powers that be.

Disappointed in Brian and the others. Roger’s network is not immune to the criticism of Megyn. Megyn needs to apologize and end this. FOX can only lose along with Megyn. The natives are picking Trump, while FOX shouldn’t be picking sides. They should report the news.

Hmmm, considering that Rupert Murdoch’s net worth is about 3-4x Trump’s, and Murdoch holds an extensive portfolio of media outlets, I think this is one battle Trump might not want to pick....
Fox practices “Sensationalism in journalism”. They have from the beginning. All this “Kelly vs Trump” is just part of the game.
When I see Kelly, a long list of words pops into my head. Bimbo is near the top and journalist isn’t on the list.

To the extent people become informed of the details, the claim of "unprovoked" is not as rock-solid as Foxnews thinks.
