Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes released a statement on Tuesday about Donald Trump's renewed war on host Megyn Kelly.
“Donald Trump's surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at FOX News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise.”

On Tuesday morning Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade fired back, saying Trump is "out of control." At least 10 separate Fox News personalities publically rebuked Trump before noon on Tuesday, evidence that no one is being told to be nice to Trump from the powers that be.

Kelly deserved to be called out, but this latest barrage of tweets from Trump is over the top. He goes out of his way to malign people. Twitter is not his friend.
I’m sure The Donald is quaking in his boots. Still, no call to be rude. He’s lowering himself.

but a flack-skank, stealer of time for herself,
and clearly NOT a balanced interviewer.

What exactly does “nuke” mean? Has Trump’s candidacy been destroyed? If not, the headline needs to come up with a better word, like “fires back.”
I disagree. Megyn still had blood coming out her eyes when she was discussing Trump and immigration on her show last night.
I think Trump re-tweeted a post from someone who called her a “bimbo.”
Another thread claimed Kelly made comments about Trump first which, if true, would negate Ailes’ assertion that Trump’s comments were “unprovoked.”
This would upset me. If I still watched “The Jeb News Channel.”
