GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a rally in Mobile, Alabama Friday night, August 21 beginning at approximately 6 p.m. ET. The Trump campaign moved the event from a smaller venue to a larger stadium to accommodate high demand for tickets. At least 30,000 people are expected to attend.

I expect (and hope) that security is very tight.
They certainly can’t pimp their website any harder, can they?

I love Trump but hes not hitting the nail on the head when it comes to our economic problems and solutions. Although many of us are for Trump, we need to keep our heads and try to be an agent of influence in this area. Trump comes across that he is open to changing his mind when good reason dictates.
Tariffs are a tax and possibly the preferred method of taxation. Much better than income tax which is truly anathema (but the 16th Amendment has to be repealed first or were just adding another way tax to the existing income tax method).
But U.S. tariffs are ineffective and self-inflicting when they are used to punish those with whom we trade because it hurts the American consumer more than anyone by forcing artificially higher prices to the consumer. Tariffs are useless as an economic tool because they fail to attack the direct causes of our economic problems. Those, like Trump, in favor of tariffs fail to address those causes.
Get rid of the DIRECT CAUSES of our economic malaise from the federal government and our economy will soon be booming regardless of the Chinese, the Japanese, the Mexicans, or the Man in the Moon.
- Get rid of minimum wage, the DIRECT CAUSE of artificially forced higher costs and prices and incentives for businesses to move elsewhere. The new higher minimum wage is accomplishing this result already.
- Get rid of federal protection of unions which are DIRECT CAUSES of higher costs and prices, lower quality, non-competitive products, and incentives for businesses to move elsewhere. Unions put Detroit out of business.
- Get rid of tons of dead-end, non-productive required activities, a huge DIRECT CAUSE of higher costs and incentives for businesses to move elsewhere. Anybody in business will tell you that.
All of the above is because of federal governments unconstitutional and destructive interference in the economy as a direct cause of lower productivity, competitiveness, and manufacturing moving elsewhere
