GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a rally in Mobile, Alabama Friday night, August 21 beginning at approximately 6 p.m. ET. The Trump campaign moved the event from a smaller venue to a larger stadium to accommodate high demand for tickets. At least 30,000 people are expected to attend.

Tell me who starts off a high profile speech, nationally televised, talking about murder, rape and sodomy by illegal immigrants? This is guy is fearless.
There isn’t a single candidate illuminating the correct policy vision for health insurance yet.
The two things middle class Americans hate the most are medical insurance companies and teachers’ unions. Both are progressive icons.
He has been outstanding in his speeches and interviews. Reagan was the “Great Communicator.” By far, Trump has all the other candidates beat in that area.

Thanks to the influence of the fine FReepers here, notably wardaddy and onyx (both of whom I pinged as a courtesy), my opinion of Donald Trump has been elevated. Initially, I wasn't confident that a brash New Yorker could embrace the values of the real America. But his support throughout the South is definitely making me believe that he's genuine.
As for the musical choices for his introduction and exit, I personally would have preferred old-time, hard-core Country (Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Webb Pierce and Kitty Wells) or Christian Southern Gospel instead of what sounded like acid rock to these 70+ year-old ears. But on that score, I doubt I represent what people from the Gulf Coast like nowadays, particularly the younger set. So if that's my only quibble with how the Trump campaign does things, then it's a minor matter indeed! :)
