The NYT’s war on English
I’m a Cruz supporter.
But I was very impressed with how Trump refuses to cede control of the English language to liberal reporters. He isn’t elegant like Cruz, but maybe elegance isn’t needed when dealing with those who have assigned themselves the job of Orwelling the English language.
Everyone should Tweet or Email or otherwise post that the NY Times IS NOT THE ARBITER of Truth — The NY Times is not authorized to Control Speech ... Political Correctness done by News Media is an attempt to Censor Speech - to control what is said by creating their own ideas of what is correct speech ... And let the NY Times Know THAT News Media induced Censorship of the Free Speech of Americans will not be tolerated... And that continued attempts to Control Speech will be done at the peril of the NY TIMES...
This is what the left has always tried to do. Shut down the argument by banning the terms. Trump refuses to do so.
Okay, if we can’t refer to anchor babies as anchor babies, would Keys to the Welfare Office be okay?
I stopped (several years ago) caring when some delicate liberal claimed to be offended. Anyone who bursts into tears when a queer is called gay, when an anchor baby is called an anchor baby, or when an illegal alien who committed a crime coming here is called an illegal and a criminal, it too helpless to be out in public. It’s their own fault for leaving the nice padded room where the nice guys in white coats take care of them.
Hey NYT, go stuff your ‘offensive term’.
Alien is now an offensive term. But it was okay to call Italians like Joe DiMaggio’s father an Enemy Alien during WW II and requiring Resident Aliens, who were all White people from Eastern Europe living in the United States to register at the Post Office every year up until the Wall fell.

NYT gets all bent out of shape over a term they consider offensive [anchor babies].
I don’t recall them referencing the PP ‘cracking’ as offensive.

NYT’s and other Libs’ feigned offense-ats are getting old.
Political correctness is taking some hits in this election cycle. The general populace might get the idea that, when they confront those pushing PC, most times the PC advocators back off.
When I hear it I experience it as aggression.
The term ‘New York Times’ MUST be dropped from polite speech - - it's a microaggression aimed at traditional Americans.
Would the phrase “baby wetbacks” be more acceptable?
I don’t want you to discuss Illegal Immigration and Anchor Babies. If I can get the PC crowd to ban the use of those words I have achieved my objective.

If we allow those who wish to fundamentally change the society of this nation, to control speech, we are handing them victory.
Dear NY Times, I’m offended that you care what illegal aliens think. I would suggest you use your profits to go find a country that uses language you approve of, but don’t think that you could scrape together gas money to reach Canada (not to mention your criminal records for DUIs and drugs would prevent entry.)
