Undersea Monolith Reveals Genius Engineering
by Brian Thomas, M.S. *
Of all the scientific disciplines, underwater archaeology may be one of the most fascinating. These researchers examine artifacts our ancestors left behind before global sea level rose and covered them. A newly discovered monolitha gigantic rock placed in what is today the Mediterranean Seaconfronts a few evolution-based errors about human origins.
Divers visited the monolith in 2014, capturing high resolution sonar images and underwater photographs. It lies on the undersea Adventure Plateau, found south of Sicily and north of Tunisia, Africa. Archaeologists from Italy and Israel described the results in the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports.1
Today, the artifact lies about 140 feet below sea level, so it appears it was constructed back when sea level was at least 150 feet lower than today's level. Glacial meltwater near the end of the Ice Age caused a series of local "megafloods" around the globe, like the ancient Missoula Flood in America's Northwest. These explain the addition of vast amounts of water to the world's oceans.2

You mean the oceans rose even before I bought my SUV? Imagine that!
Well, at least they seem to be getting closer to accepting the idea of God destroying the world through the Flood.
What evidence do they have that proves global warming? Just because it is 150 or so below the current water level, doesn’t prove that. There could be other explainations. Maybe the plateau sunk. Maybe underwater volcanos filled in the depths. If scientist have a theory, they need to prove it and disprove alternative theories. Learned that in elementary school science.
I read that during the 2004 Tsunami, the water receded in the ocean for a while at some places and a lot of temples were temporarily revealed in the Indian Ocean.
That looks like a giant whale accident.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Romans 1:21
you enough guys, sticks, stones, and mud together and you can move any block oc stone. it
‘s not all that hard. these “archaeologists” hype this crap to ALWAYS make it “mysterious” and “Incredible”
IT HAS TO DO WITH GRANTS AND SELF-AGGRANDISEMENT.
what else can you say about mere freaking rocks?
Where in the article did they mention global warming?
**These researchers examine artifacts our ancestors left behind before global sea level rose and covered them.**
See! We should have listened to Algore.
PinGGG!.................
They don’t specifically mention it, but use the same argument as global warming kooks today.
“Glacial meltwater near the end of the Ice Age caused a series of local “megafloods” around the globe, like the ancient Missoula Flood in America’s Northwest. These explain the addition of vast amounts of water to the world’s oceans.”
I prefer the theory that the coastal landmass SUNK, rather than the “sea level rise” theory.

Funny how only Brian Thomas * can see these things.
There had to be some sea level fluctuation during and after the ice age. Water is a zero sum game. If it’s covering land masses hundreds of feet thick over hundreds or thousands of miles, the sea levels must be lower while that’s going on. After those ice sheets melt, sea levels must rise. Unless I’m missing something.
It looks like Geraldo’s mustache.
The Mediterranean Sea notably outlets over a narrow & shallow ridge. Entirely possible that the ridge was once high enough to hold back the ocean, protecting a vast valley behind - and, to the article’s subject, left a dry space where ambitious early humans moved* a large stone to its current location. Subsequently the ridge eroded over a long(!) period, giving way to the relentless ocean and flooding the area, leaving aforementioned rock 140’ below sea level.
