Donald Trump would reverse President Obama's executive orders on immigration and deport all undocumented immigrants from the U.S. as president, he said in an exclusive interview with NBC's Chuck Todd.
"We're going to keep the families together, but they have to go," he said in the interview, which will air in full on NBC's "Meet the Press" this Sunday.
Pressed on what he'd do if the immigrants in question had nowhere to return to, Trump reiterated: "They have to go."
"We will work with them. They have to go. Chuck, we either have a country, or we don't have a country," he said.
Speaking on Trump's gilded private plane as it idled on a runway in Des Moines, Iowa, the real-estate mogul and Republican presidential frontrunner offered the first outlines of the immigration policy proposals he'd implement from the Oval Office.
Trump said, to begin, "we have to" rescind Obama's executive order offering those brought to the U.S. illegally as children — known as DREAMers — protection from deportation, as well as Obama's unilateral move to delay deportation for their families as well.
"We have to make a whole new set of standards" for those immigrating to the US.

Trump always stated 100 percent deportation with a legal process to bring back people we might want in this country. If that's amnesty, it's better than what the other candidates have declared they'll do: "we'll have a conversation about it after we've enforced the border with high tech drones and better infrastructure!"
Conversation = "We'll tell you later we can't deport all these illegals so we have to give them all legal status."
Which do you prefer. Letting all these people stay and giving them legal status, or deporting everyone and making them go through a legal process to determine if they are someone we could actually want or need in this country? Odds are, there will be very few coming back, since they won't be to happy in the first place of getting kicked out of the country.

He’s fearless. Good. Because if he gets elected, this is going to be a messy process. Trump is definitely the man for the job. There are none of the other candidates who come close. Not on this issue.
These idiots better realize for the moment he is playing nice with the Republican party...they should make no mistake that he is his own party and he knows how to make a deal with a sizeable majority of Americans.
The Contract with America was a successful concept, but it could well be Trump's agenda will make it look like a trifle.
