How many threads will we need for this story, again? I think this is at least the third one. Yeah, but in self-defense there are only 7 minutes separating the first and mine, so after I checked and started to compose, the others got in. Even as thin as this one was, it still takes time to type.
Sorry if I tired out your eyes. [grin]

Evern a person like Carter shouldn’t suffer this. Best wishes.

“Ouch; thats a bad offramp. Lord, I know that the way I perceive him is pretty much the way that You perceive me; so please have mercy on both of us. Thanks.”
That pretty much speaks for me, Lord.

Carter’s brief tenure as president was the worst in the second half of the 20th century. We often wonder how we rate these fools, but then it’s become the American way.
Jimmy wasn’t satisfied with retiring to the bustling town of Plains, Georgia and keeping his mouth shut. He had to burst onto the scene as though he was reborn as a meddlesome embarrassment.
His old kissing buddy, Fidel, may be joining him soon.

“I always thank Carter for getting me interested in politics and voting for the first time for Reagan.”
Carter does indeed deserve a lot of credit for getting Reagan elected President.

I’ll be 83 next month and my solution is palliative care only.
I would refuse treatment and my doctor and family are aware of this.

I think he is a role model ex-president, for the most part.
Prayers.

I despise the slimeball, but prayers for him. I lost my first wife to that vile disease and would wish it on no one.
Not even him.

Fidel is 88, and despite the incredible talent of those Cuban docs, surely he’s on the glide path to the grave.

Oh dear, another rising occasion for the queer-in-charge to stand with his nose in the air and look down upon John and Jane Q. Public, and blaspheme, boast, and lie in a false eulogy for ol’ chicken**** Carter.
To: ru4liberty
I see no rejoicing here or even anything close to the classless remarks lefties posted about Mrs. Thatcher or President Reagan when they passed.
We aren't even close to becoming as tacky as the leftist sewers we always criticize.

He and the GOPe. Gerald Ford was sort of the template for all of the bland squishy moderate losers to come.
To: Noumenon
Who the HELL are you to say where Carter will go after death? He’s no more flawed than any of us.
To: Mears
Of course, in many cases when you are mid 80s and later the immune system slows so much that it can do more damage to try and cure stuff rather than just ride it out for perhaps a real LONG time.
