Conservative viewers were furious at FOX News moderators after an endless string of attacks on Republican candidates during FOX News debate last week.
** Over 37,000 people have signed a petition to have Megyn Kelly banned from future FOX News GOP debates.
On Monday CNN reported that FOX News has increased security at their New York headquarters following the debate.
“ “There has been so much viciousness directed at Kelly online that it has created a security concern for FOX. She will be back on the air tomorrow night (Monday) Maybe Trump will come on her show at some point.
CNN reported:
“ On Friday night, speaking with CNN’s Don Lemon, Trump complained about Kelly’s “anger” at the debate by saying there was “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.” Many people believe he insinuating something about her menstrual cycle, but Trump denied that.
Kelly and her bosses at Fox News have said nothing publicly about the “blood” comments. Privately, though, they are disgusted by what Trump said and by the response from some of his supporters. There has been so much invective directed at her on the Internet that it’s created security concerns for Fox.
Kelly does not want to be seen as a victim; rather, she wants to stay above the fray and be seen as an independent-minded journalist.

First of all, apparently, it’s not all that “private”. Secondly, when did Fox News begin doing opposition research on behalf of Jeb Bush and the Democrats? Finally, Kelly, her bosses and I have something in common; we’re all disgusted (by her, in my case).
What is this “Fox” to which you refer?
I haven’t called anyone names. It has always been the other way around.

She wants to be thought of as a journalist but she doesn’t and her supporters don’t want her to take any heat for what she says and does.
Being a woman doesn’t get you any special consideration for anything. If that’s what you want, remove yourself to the kitchen or a cave; take your pick. Equality isn’t defined as equality except for x, y, z, because I’m a sensitive woman.
Well, the obvious easy solution is for Fox to #firemegynkelly (twitter hashtag).
So Kelly viciously attacks Trump and complains when viewers object, calling them vicious. Kind of a vicious cycle.
The aggressor wants to play “victim” now.
“She wants to be thought of a “journalist”.”
When in fact she’s just a “urinalist.”

There is a lot of anger below the surface out there and it's being directed at Kelly and Fox...
They are projecting it at them instead of at the GOPe and DC since it looks like Fox News is working in conjunction with the GOPe to take out Trump so Fox and Kelly are taking the brunt of it..
I'm sure we have our share of loony tunes conservatives (some on this board) that can easily be pushed over the edge...
Some of the hate and vitriol directed at them at FR is over the top...
