Conservative viewers were furious at FOX News moderators after an endless string of attacks on Republican candidates during FOX News debate last week.
** Over 37,000 people have signed a petition to have Megyn Kelly banned from future FOX News GOP debates.
On Monday CNN reported that FOX News has increased security at their New York headquarters following the debate.
There has been so much viciousness directed at Kelly online that it has created a security concern for FOX. She will be back on the air tomorrow night (Monday) Maybe Trump will come on her show at some point.
CNN reported:
On Friday night, speaking with CNNs Don Lemon, Trump complained about Kellys anger at the debate by saying there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. Many people believe he insinuating something about her menstrual cycle, but Trump denied that.
Kelly and her bosses at Fox News have said nothing publicly about the blood comments. Privately, though, they are disgusted by what Trump said and by the response from some of his supporters. There has been so much invective directed at her on the Internet that its created security concerns for Fox.
Kelly does not want to be seen as a victim; rather, she wants to stay above the fray and be seen as an independent-minded journalist.
I was not a member of the union at all. I was in management. As a manager I supervised union employees. Sheesh! It was actually 3 different unions for three different employee crafts.
Buzz off.
Fox can give it, plotting to derail Trump and even having him escorted off the stage, yet they can’t take the criticism. Fox has lost all credibility.
Fox lost all credibility with the debate. There brand is definitely damaged. I don’t think they can recover from such a blatant attack on a Presidential candidate. Their agenda is exposed for all to see.
Maybe it's just me, but she isn't all that pretty. She's got a Ruth Buzzi jaw, and a nose that looks like she's been sleeping on the left side of her face her whole life.
But hey, that's just my $.02... Anyway, she ain't too pretty under the skin, no matter what you might think of the packaging.
Good catch.
Megyn “Gotcha!” Kelly may be entering Free Republic’s Hallowed Halls of Infamy, currently occupied by the flipped-out Dixie Chicks, “Gunga Dan” Rather, Brian “Commander McBragg” Williams and algore AKA Manbearpig. (And assorted other lefty oddballs).
Congratulations Megyn!
FOX needs to track down the worst of the letters and see what democrat war room is pumping them out.
This is a golden opportunity for liberal haters ... they won’t let it go to waste.
Be nice to Nellie Oleson!
Oh she acted like a “journalist” all right a typical leftist “journalist” with a political mission to accomplish for her fellow comrades. She got her Candy Crowley moment to be remembered by.
With these narcissist the debate is never just about the debate and candidates it is about these preening prima-donnas getting their accolades from the other “journalist” prima-donnas. You could tell before the debate started this was going to be all about them and I commented to my wife, watch their body language, it’s all about them and it was...
I agree. If they really think Trump’s an unqualified boor, seems like they could have made their point by asking him some real questions, to which he would have had no answers. I think it’s interesting that they didn’t do that.
I’m not defending FOX’s performance at all, but I don’t think Kelly was on her own. The anchors said beforehand that they wanted to get the candidates off their talking points. The event was adversarial, and it didn’t yield much information. FOX is still congratulating themselves, but I wouldn’t call it a success.
“Be nice to Nellie Oleson!”
OMG! I just realized the strong resemblance. LOL!
I used to think that, but then I began reading claims that she wasn't as conservative as most assumed, and have recently observed her just getting more full of herself by the day. That debate "performance" was atrocious. I'm a Cruz supporter, but can also see the value that Trump has brought to the political conversation by forcing other candidates and the media to directly address the issues we face, without all of the typical political doublespeak and bowing to political correctness.
This debate was a precious opportunity for the candidates to emphasize the severe problems facing the country, and to state their solutions to those problems. But Megyn specifically, and Fox in general, wasted that opportunity by engaging in idiotic tabloid nonsense. Not only was Trump justified in firing back, but if it were me I would have been far harsher in responding to Megyn's moronic "war on women"-related question. The proper response to any such PC question is to dismiss it out of hand as the foolishness that it is, and Trump did just that.
Well, you say you're a salamander anyway
and
I trust you
Kelly ..... wants to (1)stay above the fray and be seen as an (2)independent-minded (3)journalist.

FAIL on all 3 counts.
And politicians.
Why, so she can apologize to him?
EXCLUSIVE: ‘I wanted a wife... so did she’. Ex-husband of Megyn Kelly speaks out about his marriage to the FOX News star...
“Megyn is playing the War on Womyn trump card.”
Thank goodness she’s white...although you’d have to take a backhoe to that makeup to be sure ;)
He’s going on Hannity tomorrow night. I think he should go on shows that compete with Megyn Kelly’s show on other networks from now on.
“Ironically, on FR, its the Cruz supporters that seem to be the most obnoxious right now with the name calling of other Freepers and the slandering of Trump.”
I don’t see that. But there are several pro Crus anti-Trump trolls posting 24-7 that make it seem like an army.
They are outnumbered I think by Cruz supporters that see Trump-Cruz as a potentially outstanding partnership, because Trump is smart enough to know he needs Cruz.
Is the nation currently gearing up for a presidential election, or worrying about the details of Megyn Kelly’s life and career? I wish all these candidates would pick better debate moderators, and if they can’t get who they want on one network, they find a media outlet which will accommodate them. All these media personalities do anymore is insert themselves into the debate and make the election all about them.
