Businessman Donald Trump on Monday tried to move beyond his controversial remark that Fox News host Megyn Kelly had "blood coming out of her ... wherever," saying he was not the one who should apologize. "The fact is she asked me a very inappropriate question. She should really be apologizing to me," the Republican presidential candidate said Monday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

As another poster mentioned, Trump should also insist Fox apologize to the American people, we wanted to watch a legitimate debate - not a hack job.
Trump is winning this news cycle just like he’s won every one the last few months. No wonder some are crying uncle and make it stop lol
His supporters will say she is...
Trump is not doing himself any favors here.
Your advice for Trump has been spot on lol
Yeah...but he will take all NY's electorial votes.
Where Trump went wrong, is he should insist Kelly apologize to the viewers for her crappy cheap self serving attacks. Bret Baier too for that matter because of his the opening salvo.
As long as it is to his benefit. After 12 years as a realty TV star who has more name recognition than any other candidate with the possible exception of Hillary (you know you are famous when you are referred to by only your first name). Millions of Americans think they know The Donald after being in their homes for 12 years. He is a celebrity.
I have only seen a few episodes of his show. My wife and daughter love it. But even I know when you hear, "You're fired," it means Trump. He is the Muhammad Ali of politics. An irrepressible self-promoter who backs up his brash and sometimes crude rhetoric with results.
:-)
thank you...you’d have guessed I was trying to undermine him according to his supporters...
But seriously, he needs to get off of this topic now. He said he wants to focus on the issues...so do it.
Just my opinion of course
We will see how it all shakes out in terms of poll numbers. The fact that we are still focused on Trump and that he still appears to be leading, says something.
Refusing to answer the question is how a politician would change the subject.
Feeding the media frenzy is how a reality star stays in the klieg lights.
When it comes to Trump, stop thinking about what a politician would do. That’s not a criticism. It’s crazy like a fox. Enough to get him the nomination? Who cares!
The media and GOPe are getting punk’d.
I love it.
She should have been smarter than to throw Br’er Donald in the briar patch...
“Trump has to be the most self centered egotistical bastard that ever ran for President. Typical Born and Raised NYC Arrogant Asshole.”
The rats set the bar that low. Trump can just step over it. Hillary can limbo under it.
Trump's a bigger blowhard, but the current resident bastard is on par with Trump.
Trump has to be the most self centered egotistical bastard that ever ran for President. Typical Born and Raised NYC Arrogant Asshole.
‘The rats set the bar that low. Trump can just step over it. Hillary can limbo under it.’
So true, love your analogy. AND for the likes of Trump bashers out here, STFU and enjoy the fight he’s bringing to the media and GOPe. Otherwise, you are seen as TROLLS.
“As another poster mentioned, Trump should also insist Fox apologize to the American people, we wanted to watch a legitimate debate - not a hack job.”
It’s my opinion that we, the American people should be doing that, loudly, constantly and with vigor until Fox “gets it.” At present, they still seem to think that omitting relevant news about Trump and touting other candidates that don’t have near as good polling is going to make us all forget what a stupid stunt they pulled.
One good thing to come out of this debacle: Fox viewers have now been disabused of any notion that it is a conservative oriented network.
Fox has severely damaged its brand image and credibility.
“I think youre kidding yourself if you think this is benefiting Trump.”
Wish what you want but people like yourself said no way would Trump get anywhere in the polls, either.
If Trump were running for celebrity in chief bashing Megan Kelly might keep him in the limelight but the kind of celebrity one needs to be president is a bit different. The problem for Trump is he must stay in the limelight and to do that he must become ever more and more outrageous until he crosses more and more lines and alienates more and more people.
The more he bashes Megan Kelly the more he taints whatever legitimacy he had acquired for plain talk about hard issues. Now it's just gutter talk about personalities.
You have to believe that way if you want to be President, the most powerful office in the world. It is the ultimate exercise in hubris. Trump shows it while the others try to hide it.
Obama is the "most self centered egotistical bastard" that has ever been President.
Obama won two elections with the two highest vote totals in American history. This is a guy who said after winning the Dem primaries in 2008, This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal. Even Trump has not claimed such powers. Obama won by 10 million votes.
How many weeks has it been now that those with TDS have been telling us Trump is finished, washed up, “not doing himself any favors”, blah, blah blah...?
Never thought I’d see the day when “FReepers” would be aligned the Establishment Republicans and the MSM. It would be nice if you folks would go after Obama, Hillary and Berny Sanders with the same vigor.
