Trump Loses Zero Ground After Fox’s Unfair, Unbalanced Attack In Debate

CLEVELAND, Ohio: A Wall Street Journal report suggests that despite critics’ opinions predicting GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s poll numbers would fall, two early – though unscientific – polls predict that may be wrong.

“Time Magazine found that Mr. Trump took 47% of nearly 55,000 votes. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) of Florida was in second place with just 10%. The Drudge Report’s poll found more than half of nearly 362,000 voters favored Mr. Trump, well above everyone else,” the Wall Street Journal noted.

After Frank Luntz’s made his opinion on Trump’s performance suggesting “tonight his act wore thin,” conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh stood up for Trump, and instead went after Fox News’ performance.

“I have never seen this kind of public backlash against Fox News personalities since the network launched in 1997,” the radio legend stated.

Even Bloomberg Politics went after Fox News host Megyn Kelly for her questioning comparing it to “something Rachel Maddow would ask.”

This must be horrible news to the anti-Trump “FReepers!”

Maybe this is because of the continual broken campaign promise lies told by those we sent to Capitol Hill to turn things around. Instead, its business as usual, and no opposition to Obama as promised.

These were e-polls/internet polls. Not discounting them, but we’ll see in the next round of “real” polls (phoney as they often are) what ground, if any, has been lost.

Did anyone other than the RINOs, MSM, Washington Cartel and the ilk of the above think any different....I think not...

The lesson to be learned from the past few days is when you choose someone to help you get to where you want to go, then you follow, no matter what...

In this case, there are some of us (me included) that think Trump is the man that can tear open the heart of the socialists party...and he’s doing a damn good job of it...

Oh sure a few little people like Kelly and fox, he had to step over, but he did it in a way that now you can see what their game plan was all the time...he knew this before even walking on that stage...

He stopped her dead in her tracts and that’s why the viral outburst she caused...and he wanted you to find what she’s all about, and we did....

This is the businessman’s way of playing the game, and one that the socialist party isn’t going to win unless we let them....

Yup. If the Republicans in Congress did even a quarter of the things they said they would do then a Trump candidacy would not be viable, but they haven’t done a damn thing and The Donald is in a strong position with so many pissed off voters, from all voters and not just strictly Republicans.

Correct. Internet e-polls are next to worthless. The only thing they really do is let people vent their anger, but just like letters to congress and electing GOP-e RINOs, no real action ensues.

Even Bloomberg Politics went after Fox News host Megyn Kelly for her questioning comparing it to “something Rachel Maddow would ask.”

Any comparison to Rachel Maddow is not a good thing. And, its hard to imagine any liberal network doing a worse job than Team Kelly did on Thursday night.

Ms. Kelly's career and credibility were irreparably damaged by her complete lack of professionalism, snarky demeanor, and failure to produce a meaningful exploration of the serious issues facing the country today. We needed to find out about the priorities, plans and leadership qualities of the candidates but all we got was sophomoric personal attacks and gotcha journalism. She is responsible for this epic failure.

The anti-Trump “FReepers! are wearing thin IMO.

I’d hazard a guess that 90% of Freepers support Cruz and Trump, in that order...I know I do.

I firmly believe that Cruz’s only chance is to join with Trump as he has the money needed to run. If Trump falls then the MSM will do all they can to destroy Cruz...including FOX NEWS. Trump is keeping the heat off of Cruz.

If Trump had not been at the debate then the moderators would have attacked Cruz non-stop.

The old parties are dead, the Democrats are now the socialist/totalitarians and the Republicans are close behind. If Trump can win the republican nomination we might have a chance to cleanse the party. If not, a 3rd party run is the only option we have.

I had another thought about where conservatives are at. These disgusting manipulations by the RNC/elitists/media lapdogs against Trump bring back my seething anger from last election cycle.

That's when the puppetmasters were so disgustingly out of line to defeat McDaniel and keep Cocheran in the US Senate. All of those pols on stage were okay with that. Someone mentioned on another thread that Trump had donated to the McDaniel campaign.

If that isn't enough to vote for Trump, what is? Shouldn't we Constitutional Conservatives stop being the abused wife who's afraid to leave because of scare tactics about what lies beyond?

On another thread a comment was that the Republican Party was always GOPe with Goldwater and Reagan being outliers.

To the debate moderators:

It is the job of the candidates to vet each other. It is the job of the moderators to provide a neutral forum for them to do so.

If you want to engage the candidates during the debates, then get on the stage and run for President yourselves.

Otherwise, just facilitate the discussion between the candidates and stay out of the conversation. You haven't earned the right to participate in the discussion, especially from the safety of behind the desk.

I agree with your post #9.

The same anti-Trump types who are defending Megyn’s questions as tough, while at the same time saying Donald just couldn’t handle these “tough” questions, would be crying bloody murder if Cruz had been treated this way.

The GOP has not delivered. You are correct; Trump is exposing those broken promises. Had the GOP reps produced a fraction of what they promised, Trump wouldn’t even be in the race. But the GOP is a total failure and he is stepping into the political vacuum they themselves created. Like any businessman, Trump see’s a need and is fulfilling it.
