Jeb Bush takes the gloves off at RedState
Washington Examiner ^ | 8/8/15 | RYAN LOVELACE

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has suffered from criticism that he has not fought back against those who sought to diminish his campaign. At the RedState Gathering on Saturday, Bush delivered passionate remarks and named his enemies: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Bush went after Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for her unwillingness to take a stance on whether to construct the Keystone XL pipeline. At a town hall event on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, Clinton avoided providing a yes or no answer about whether she would support construction of the pipeline.

"She can't now have an opinion on that — really?" Bush said. "I know what her opinion is. She's opposed to it. I'm for it."

Wonder why Miss Kelly didn’t ask Yeb about the Bush family’s love for the Clintons? DIdn’t they say Bill was like GWB[’s brother? No, she asks about Trump’s donations to the Foundation - while ignoring Carly’s involvement with it. Hypocrites-all of them.

Fredo Corleone: I’m your older brother, Mike, and I was stepped over!
Michael Corleone: That’s the way Pop wanted it.
Fredo Corleone: It ain’t the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I’m smart and I want respect!

Going in I would have guessed George was the most likely to be wearing gloves. I just hadn’t expected them to be the elbow length kind, accompanied by high heels.

So much better to have them handy when he decides to slap a U. S. Citizen in the face who objects to his Mexicans First policies.

Yes Jebra (as I affectionately refer to him) steps in it almost every day, and “IT” isn’t your mothers salami either.

Jeb took off the gloves when he fought for Terri Schiavo and the little swamp judge punked him and he gave up to save her not. Too bad— not the right stuff milquetoast.
No thanks senor Yeb.

The Jwebster will NEVER have my V0TE

for he has broken the law of Ronaldus Magnus.

A major mistake on his part, if we can’t trust
him with members of his own party why would
we trust him to treat US any better.

I am not a Trump supporter, my candidate is

Ted Cruz, but I suspect the attacks on him
will soon follow.

conservatives gathered at the RedState watch party vehemently booed Bush. A few even shouted obscenities as he spoke about immigration and Common Core educational standards. But he received a standing ovation from a majority in the audience on Saturday and got loud applause for taking on Trump. Bush said Trump ought to apologize for the pejorative comments he made about Fox News personality Megyn Kelly.

These folks are completely detached from America.

I guess they're upset Trump KO'd their lapdog.

Yeb probably pressured EE to disinvite Trump and Carson so he could get all the attention. Typical the way the GOPe operates. Can’t have their favorite son embarrassed again.

Someone needs to tell him he’s not going to be allowed to build the pipeline with illegal workers and he’ll change his tune real quick.

Yes! Trump should have said that the Bushes have always been very cozy with the Clinton crime family “Will you ask Jeb about that Megan?

“I’ll bet you are right. The article said he got a standing O at the meeting when he said Trump needs to apologize to MK. Apologize for what? Maybe he should go after Howard Stern and ask him to apologize for the way he talked to her during that interview. Oh wait - she enjoyed it.”

Hi there, ya got a link to that, I think everyone should hear how sweet and innocent she is. BTW, did she say anything about her calling her nose her vagina? Seems like a lot of people are getting those two body parts mixed up and I’m just wondering why? LOL

Is it just me, or is this railing against Hillary’s non-stand on Keystone a bit of a pimple on the butt of the real problem in this country?

This is NOT taking off the gloves.

"Do we want to win? Do we want to insult 53 percent of all voters?" Bush said. "What Donald Trump said is wrong. That is not how you win elections. Worse yet, that is not how you bring people together to solve problems."

Jebbie making the same mistake legions of geniuses made after Trump's remarks about McCain. Large numbers of people dislike McCain and know he's said as bad or worse about many others.

And here, millions saw how Megyn conducted herself, like a self-important winch, injecting herself into a candidate forum in a way that was entirely inappropriate, and just repeating rumors for which she supplied no evidence.

Trump needs to start avoiding needless escalations of such conflicts, but the geniuses are likely in for another shock when he loses little if any support because millions will believe he was ambushed and treated unfairly. And Megyn is not as beloved as many seem to think.
