Someone needs to ask the US Dept. of Education. Isn't this their job... What? It isn't?

If she was so concerned about receiving a unearned diploma, why did she not earn it while she was in school?
To: SMGFan
Come to think of it, has anybody ever heard of anybody "flunking out" of high school? At least in modern times?
Basically you just need to show up at least half the time and you will get your diploma. The high schools, at least the public ones, just want to move you through and out.

She shouldn’t feel bad. I’ve met high school graduates who don’t know the difference between lose, and loose. Don’t know the difference between there, their, and they’re. And can’t do simple math in their heads.

Well, who let the editor who wrote the headline graduate FROM high school? Looks like he or she has grounds for complaint, as well.

Go to college, become a surgeon. They’ll give you that with just a little bit of effort.

Why did NYC let me graduate high school?
What an ingrate?
Will she also be as ungrateful when she gets a scholarship to attend a university of her choice? Will she be ungrateful when she is offered Food Stamps or subsidized housing or free transportation to and from work? Will she refuse the $15 an hour wage that she won't be deserving of, but which democrats will vote to get for her?
Dependency: it's what democrats do.
That girl will be permanently dependent on the largess of democrats. It's how democrats build a permanent base of voters.

Show a little more cleavage and the NY Teachers would give you a college diploma.

Our incompetent middle school principal tried to fire a teacher for failing students. Total joke. Told the teacher,”we don’t fail students in middle school”.

Sounds like she and her former school share some things common. She didn’t care enough to even show up so why should they care enough to fail her and save a spot for her to be re-educated? Baby girl’s diploma will take her exactly as far as she deserves to go.
