Since she’s already had her diploma awarded, she probably wouldn’t be allowed to retake the class.
She realizes she failed by her own actions (or lack of actions) but was passed for the convenience and rating of the school. That’s a good thing. Now she should go to correct her deficiencies and get the actual education she didn’t. The school is a worthless monstrosity sucking up tax dollars with imaginary results.
Perhaps there is. Schools just want to rubber-stamp kids and get them out of there.
When I was editorial director of a publishing company, I was looking for a junior copy editor. Got a hundred resumes. Interviewed a fellow who had just graduated from Journalism School at our state uni. Nice young fellow, but he only got a sore of 59% on our test. Didn't they grade you on spelling and grammar? Not really, he replied. "We were graded on political correctness." If he had been my son I would have sued the school for my tuition money back plus damages.
I dropped out in the ‘70’s (actually asked to leave). “The Mod Squad” was still on so I guess it was modern times.
