Excerpted from Biz Pac Review: Conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter hints that she may be vying for a position in a future Donald Trump administration — as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
As evidenced by her latest book, “Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole,” Coulter, liker Trump, is strongly against illegal immigration and would run a much tighter ship than Jeh Johnson, the current DHS chief.
She made her remarks at the Eagle Forum’s Collegian Summit in Washington, D.C., where she remarked that the real estate billionaire is “more likely to be the next president than Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio.”
Coulter made this prediction even if he runs as a third-party candidate, stating that if Ross Perot could pick up 20 percent of the vote in 1992, Trump could do much better.
Later into the session, she made her pitch.
“I would like to be the head of Donald Trump’s homeland security.” She said she was only “slightly joking,” because “I don’t think it’s that hard to figure out.”
“I’ll get it all done before breakfast,” Coulter said, adding that she “could kind of guess who the criminals are going to be at least 50 percent of the time.”
“There was no pussyfooting around,” Coulter said of Ellis Island immigrants, “We’re assimilating you, you’re here and you’re going to be an American. There will be no celebration of Cinco de Mayo, there will be no Ramadan, in fact there won’t even be a Feast of the Immaculate Conception – we are an Anglo-Protestant country, and you will learn about the Battle of Valley Forge.”Keep reading
I’d have them be conservatives and support conservatives, and encourage others to stand for and elect conservatives, not liberals with a R. Because principle matters.
Or do you feel that advocating voting for known liberals after you trashed them for almost 4 years is conservative?
Do you feel that suddenly people that you trash for almost 4 years are suddenly, miraculously acceptable in the final weeks of an election?
Does that mean you falsely accused them for almost 4 years or perhaps that you made all that up?

Last cycle Romney was the immigration hard liner saying he would cut illegals benefits and let them "self deport". Everyone else was in favor of amnesty in one favor or another. Not surprisingly Ann supported the let them "self deport" Romney.
This stuff is not hard to figure out if you give it a little effort.
What illegal hardliner gets caught with illegals working in his house, gets caught AGAIN with the SAME illegals and supposedly got caught A THIRD TIME with those same illegals?

One more time, last cycle Romney was the hard liner on immigration ergo Ann supported Romney. I flat out refused to vote McCain in 2008 since I, like Ann, am a single issue voter (immigration) however I had no problem voting for Romney. I figured he'd flip flop but at least he talked talk. So there was reason to hope.
If the left can legalize 30-60 million new voters conservatism will be on the ash heap of history. There is not an issue more important them immigration.
Immigration is the only issue this cycle and Trump is the only candidate that is trust worthy on that issue.

You think perhaps a guy running for president would be smart enough to not be that in your face about his disdain? Or is that a universe too far?
I do not, which is why I welcome the work being done now by the likes of Ann Coulter, Mark Steyn, and others. I don't rail against any of them for some lack of ideologically purity over the past twenty years. How do expect to grow my side of the debate, if I don't welcome any newcomers?

Can’t have it both ways. Hero worship is fine when you’re 8. Not so much when your an adult and your country is in hell because your heroes are only conservative when it matters least.
The bottom line is that to this day she defends her bad decision. That speaks to her lack of conservatism.

I hope Trump puts together a dream team for his cabinet, so people know they are electing a whole new posse to take DC by storm.

Unlike Ann Coulter and her fellow frauds backing people that repeatedly get caught hiring them, no I don’t. Thats why I support Conservatives on election day and they do not.

So which media figures and politicians do you want advancing that message? Lots of them, even if flawed?* Or just a few ideologically pure ones? Heck, even Bernie Sanders recent quip (since walked back) against open borders was useful.
*In my book AC’s endorsement of MR is a pretty minor flaw - all the 2012 GOP candidates were weak. Gingrich? Perry? Santorum? Each an amnesty supporter or a sure loser against Obama.
