OSKALOOSA, Iowa (AP) Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump opened up a line of attack Saturday on Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, accusing the leader in recent polls in Iowa of running his neighboring state into financial trouble.
It's the latest broadside against a rival of the outspoken New York billionaire. Last week, Trump went after South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham for calling him a "jackass." The New York businessman has characterized other candidates as unfit for the office and said the party's 2008 nominee, Sen. John McCain, was not a war hero in spite of his years as a prisoner in Vietnam.
Spurred on by a raucous audience of more than 1,000 at a central Iowa high school, Trump said Walker has an advantage in Iowa because he's from a neighboring state but that the edge is undeserved because Walker has mismanaged Wisconsin's budget.

Consider it a boxing match - trump goes on offense against all the right opponents and when one who may be able to coexist is part of a jab at him, he counter-punches. It's what's making him so popular - at least among those who understand the concept of manhood.
Yes, I can see you probably don't want anyone that will do what they campaign that they will do, it's much better to have someone who bloviates about issues and does nothing.
Go back to kindergarten and learn how to become a person. No I did not listen to trump’s speech as I have more important things to do like take care of an elderly parent with Alzheimer’s disease. trump has one thing in mind, he will destroy anyone whom criticizes him in anyway. Be careful how start criticizing others on FR because you can be removed too for being arrogant idiot.
Trump is not what America needs, he has inserted his foot in his mouth too many times. he claims he is the richest person running. But really all he knows is how to file bankruptcy for his failed businesses.
So remember go back to kindergarten and learn how to be polite to others, it will go a long ways in order for you to stay on FR.
I took care of my elderly parents until their deaths at 94 (two years apart).
I can only imagine what you are going through.
Yes, I do but just as bringing up immigration brought the issue to the forefront, so will bringing up other issues including a lawless President. And, yes, its the primaries but the country has another 16 months of Obama and if we don't start reining him in now, there won't be a damn election so that's where all need to focus as much as possible. So pound them and McConnell and Boehner, Graham, McCain and other RINOs but don't tear down every conservative in the house. btw, Cruz is managing it.
Walker gets attention and free media via Trump. Genius.
Yes, a leader in Walker’s campaign called Donald Trump a “dumb dumb”. Everyone knows that unless Walker denounces his campaign member for doing that it means Walker approved of the name calling. Did Walker do it to make news so he could get in the news more following Trump firing back??
What everyone needs to realize is that when attacked, Donald Trump is going to fight back. He is NOT going to just “be nice” and take it. If everyone would review what has happened, it is obvious that Trump was attacked first in every incident. GO TRUMP!!
If Walker had denounced his campaign person who called Donald a “dumb dumb”, perhaps he would not have slipped in the polls to behind Bush instead of second behind Trump!
Since Walker has remained quiet.....makes me wonder if he has been told to join the crowd and play right and he can be Bush’s VP.
Folks have to realize that when Donald is attacked, he WILL fight back. Look at every incident, and Trump was attacked first, so he fought back.
I will admit that Donald Trump is my favorite candidate, but I will vote for whomever the Republican nominee happens to be. Anyone but a DEM!!!
Who gins up a presidential campaign to win the VP slot on a ticket, anyway?
For example, McCain went looking for Palin. Not the other way around.
Good for Walker that he’s playing for all the marbles.
Read both Trumps and Walkers books. And then evaluate how long each has been in the battle and what they have accomplished
Trummps using some natural negotiation skills here... He’s already discovered McCain and Lindsey are thin-skinned and ‘prick-ly’... Walker needs to take the comments like a man - and stick to issues. It’s the best way to deal with Trump...
I could just as easily say that Trump supporters are closet butch homosexuals.
Your insulting jab is typical of a Paul or Walker bot, and I didn't expect such
trivial adolescent attacks from Trump worshipers. Just remember you started it.
A stupid campaign worker makes a “dumb-dumb” (dum-dum) comment that paves the way for Mr. Trump, but Governor Walker himself has not replied, to the best of my knowledge, which is the best avenue, IMHO.
Cute - the guy who thinks that it's better for Trump to take a slap from the Walker camp and not respond because , you consider Trumps dishing out of the unadulterated and non-PC truth is some tiresome
antics - and you decide that I'm the potential closet homosexual for thinking it's refreshing that one won't take the crap that the meterosexual movement says men should just roll over for. Funny how you seem to be the one most easily offended by such repartee.
Besides I'm not a Trump bot - I back Cruz and my campaign contributions go to him and him alone - I just enjoy what Trump is adding to the mix because it's refreshing that one will take a stand and not pussy out; something way to rare among our "representatives" these days. I also love that Cruz called McConnell out for being the liar that he is - did that strike you as "antics wearing thin" also?
Flame away - I may have started it (I have been tweaking a lot of folks nipples these days because it's tiresome to have so many that will attack the best attributes of some but won't take a firm stand and put their money/time/resources where their mouth is when it comes to actually backing someone. My skin is thick and I welcome any sign of life and energetic willingness to strike back from those who purport to be on our side of the aisle and hope it evolves into a willingness to take other positive actions like donating to FR at least once a quarter and to really back a conservative (through time/resources/money) instead of just pay lip service or think that attacking those who are having some sort of positive impact is "fighting the good fight.
I will not support him though.
I donate my time and money to Cruz and hope he is our next President.
That said, considering the rest of our options, If neither Cruz or Walker makes it, and it's either Trump or the "other side", I could vote for him with a clean conscience - I just pray it doesn't come to that.
I also apologize for the original attack - after dealing with a bunch of negativity-bots, who support nobody but who attack all the candidates, my trigger becomes hair-set and I go into attack mode - your original comment should have had me asking you a question to start a dialogue.
BTW - enjoyed the pics on your home page.
Didja see how Trump clarified his comments re: Walker almost word for word how I projected he should??
