Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner has spoken, and I’m more confused now than ever before. And that’s saying something.
During ESPN’s 2015 ESPY Awards, Bruce Jenner received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. In an introductory speech, video tribute, and acceptance speech that spanned nearly 30 minutes of air-time, the story of “Caitlyn’s” transformation was told.
But it was told in an entirely different way than what I expected. It was depressing. Take Abby Wambach’s opening monologue. She began by sounding the call to rally around an issue “not enough of us stand up for.” Okay, here’s the part where she’s going to tell us to rally around the cause of general LGBT acceptance, right?
So, let's talk about a way we can make our country better. Let's talk about an issue that not enough of us stand up for. At some point in their lives, 20% of transgender people are homeless. They get bullied, assaulted and murdered at dramatically higher rates than the general public. And one recent study said that 41% of them attempt suicide at some point in their lives. Now though, there's a new story. The story of someone whose mission isn't to bring attention to herself, but the ones who truly need it.

And some pretty hideous facial cosmetic surgery apparently. I can understand surgery from a hideous accident or mole removal, but some people really overdo it.
What’s some guy named Bruce going to know about plastic surgery for a womans face? Bruce insisted on XYZ and the plastic surgeon went along with it

When Bruce kills himself, can you imagine the lamentation of the left and the association they will make to intolerant Christians?
Until YOU stand up and cheer for Bruce’s transformation into a suicidal lesbian she male of course.
I’ve gone 10+ years without TV. It is amazing how much better life is when you don’t spend it staring at what liberals want you to see. Having a TV in modern America is like having a sewer pipe flowing into your living room.
How long must we endure this freak show ?

I can’t improve on your comment in the least. It’s what I have been saying for years.
Since I’ve gone cold turkey from the idiot box over 6 years ago, I find life at home so much more fulfilling. I read, travel, and interact with those around me much more. And I’ve become aware, as a now-outsider, of the pernicious influence it has on those who still consume it. My otherwise conservative mom, for one example, still watches “the news” and has softened ever so slightly on several cultural issues that she would never have entertained even 5 years ago. Constant propaganda can do that.
You said it. He probably goes home after these photo-ops, yucking it up over the lucrative publicity he's generated, and then changes clothes and removes the makeup to be just the man he knows he is at home.
He knows the propagandist drones are just suckers.
That question just gave me a headache.
