Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner has spoken, and I’m more confused now than ever before. And that’s saying something.
During ESPN’s 2015 ESPY Awards, Bruce Jenner received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. In an introductory speech, video tribute, and acceptance speech that spanned nearly 30 minutes of air-time, the story of “Caitlyn’s” transformation was told.
But it was told in an entirely different way than what I expected. It was depressing. Take Abby Wambach’s opening monologue. She began by sounding the call to rally around an issue “not enough of us stand up for.” Okay, here’s the part where she’s going to tell us to rally around the cause of general LGBT acceptance, right?
So, let's talk about a way we can make our country better. Let's talk about an issue that not enough of us stand up for. At some point in their lives, 20% of transgender people are homeless. They get bullied, assaulted and murdered at dramatically higher rates than the general public. And one recent study said that 41% of them attempt suicide at some point in their lives. Now though, there's a new story. The story of someone whose mission isn't to bring attention to herself, but the ones who truly need it.

That's correct - the protocol requires that the person live as the assigned sex for a year before the full conversion.
Actually,I read that they’re trying to get him (I refuse to say “her”) for Dancing With The Stars. They offered some huge sum of money, but thus far “Caitlyn” has said no.
As for the word “courage” in the headline, what courage? Ever since Jenner became “Caitlyn,” the whole world has fallen all over itself to praise and reward him. I don’t see where the “courage” kicks in.

The Disney/ESPN/ABC complex has really gone all in on this nonsense. They must have done some marketing study showing that the sexually confused were the big growth market of the coming decade.
