Then Trump was asked about a abortion by a woman being pregnant, and not from rape or incest, and Trump answered that it depends on how far along the baby is.
It depends when

‘age of the baby’? So you’re both admitting it’s a baby and saying that it’s OK to kill it?

I don’t want to vote for The Donald, but I do want him to continue lobbing hand-grenades into the Uniparty vipers’ nest so we can nominate Ted.

The problem with the donald, is that with the help of the enemedia, he is exhausting the air in the room.
I think Ted will be able to thrive in this environment, where others won’t be.

The other candidates aren’t going to do a damn thing about it.
They may offer some cheap and useless talk but they’re not going to do a damn thing about it.
If he would get rid of the taxpayer funding of abortion in obamacare, that would be a good start.
What are the others offering?

By the way, Cruz is still my favorite.

Donald Trump is a lifelong liberal democRAT.
Those who support him for the Republican nomination do so with that knowledge.

The relevant question is: Mr. Trump, what sort of judges would you nominate for the US Supreme Court?
That’s the only place significant changes in abortion law might originate, as well as gay marriage and other issues.

Pro-life except for that truckload of exceptions. I like the way it was stated- Pro life except (where anti-life). Pro-life except where he supports genetic cleansing.

He is asked about abortion and he says only rape, incest, life of abortion exceptions. The interviewer asks what if a woman is pregnant and has an abortion. Trump actually says “it depends when” but then he’s interrupted and then he goes on, “it has to be in one of those 3 categories” (rape, incest, life of mother).
This means either that (1) the interruption gave him a chance to think, and he was correcting it to “it must be in one of those 3 categories.” Or, it could mean (2)that he has one view about those that ARE taking place, and that he has another view about those that are justifiable. For those that ARE taking place he finds later term abortions to be abhorrent.
Another interesting thing he says at the outset is that this is the first time he’s ever been asked this...by a reporter, I suppose he means.
We also know he’s a convert to pro-life from back in 2011 or so. He could still be working out some of what he thinks. He should read Reagan’s book.

The other candidates arent going to do a damn thing about it.
If you are believing that about Senator Cruz, you don't know Cruz.
At the minimum, the SCOTUS judges he would nominate would be worlds better than the SCOTUS judges that "The Donald" would nominate.

Highly doubtful. More likely that this was a position he took because he was running for President.
Interview is from January this year (2015)

Or, more likely, the Reporter uncovered Donald's true position in a moment of Donald being flustered.
In other words, this is a political position of convenience for "The Donald".
