Former Florida governor Jeb Bush (R) argued Wednesday that the United States should pass immigration reform because the U.S. economy needs the labor of young immigrants, and immigrants are "more fertile."
"Immigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans," Bush said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to the Majority conference. "Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity."
Bush said immigrants are an advantage that the United States has over China, Europe and Japan, which don't have the same immigrant tradition and are struggling to find young laborers.
"If we dont do it, we will be in decline, because the productivity of this country is dependent upon young people that are equipped to be able to work hard," Bush said.
Bush, whose wife is a Mexican-born immigrant, has long been an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

Just wait until they have to start paying taxes,
then having to have their wives work to pay those taxes,
then have to buy larger vehicles to fit car seats in,
and grocery taxes, daycare, etc.
All these (and more) current societal pressures are why Americans aren’t as “fertile”.
More fertile? Sounds racist to me. Think about it... a group is more fertile.. good at baby breeding? Hey, Jeb.. people would have more children if regular folks could afford them. However, a huge chunk of our hard earned money goes to “fertile” folks who pop out babies like a Pez dispenser because of the free housing, medical, food, etc... I won’t say “hate” but I seriously dislike this guy.
There is not a dime’s worth of difference between Jeb & Hillary.
It has been asked before and I’ll ask it again..if cheap labor is so great for our economy, why is it not helping the economies of the countries they are coming from????
>>”Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity.”
Being more fertile while being on welfare is not a benefit for the host country. It is a viral infection. Bush probably loves the new Minions movie becuase that’s all we are to him and his fellow Corporatist Progressives.
What about solving the birthrate problem in America among the middle-class instead?
Jeb wants illegals to “breed” out Americans.
FUJB.

Proof that you don’t have to be smart to be rich
If they’re so great for the US, Mexico should have already built a wall just to keep them.
Does Jeb plan on breeding them?
“...they love families, and they have more intact families...”
Right! One would suppose that the families who’ve sent tens of thousands of kids to the U.S. alone are somewhat LESS intact than they were a few years ago...
Why can't the Jebster just GO AWAY ??? The Morlocks would actually have a better chance of getting another backstabber past us if he did. Have they gotten too arrogant and detached to realize that?
More slaves for you Bush?
Bush is done. What the US economy needs is the illegals to go back to Mexico and open up the job markets here and give back to Americans that need jobs.
So, because illegals breed like rats, we should welcome them?
FUJB!
Yeah he is already doing that like Rats... DemoRats!
Of course he is no where near as good at it as obama.
More of what the Catholic church has wrought.
immigrants are fertile..
OK so why don’t you get them from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany etc... all Caucasian...
most people who came from those countries had about 10 children each...my ancestors did..
Prove your point that way or shut up...
