Cruz: ‘Proud to Defend’ Trump, Expand H-1B Visas For ‘Educated,’ ‘Talented’ Job Creators
Breitbart ^ | 7 Jul 2015 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 07/08/2015 6:44:04 AM PDT by ConservingFreedom

Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) declared “I am proud to defend Donald Trump” and promoted his “legislation to increase the number of H-1B visas if there are people who are educated and talented and creating jobs” on Tuesday’s “Laura Ingraham Show. [...]

The discussion turned to legal immigration, Cruz said, “we should improve and streamline legal immigration.” He also discussed H-1B visas arguing that in the status quo, “every year US colleges and universities educate tens of thousands of foreign students who are getting masters and PhDs in engineering and math and computer science, and we’re sending them back to their countries. And as a result, they’re going back to their countries, they’re starting businesses there. They’re creating jobs there, and their companies are competing with us and taking jobs away from us. I don’t think that makes any sense. So, I’ve introduced legislation to increase the number of H-1B visas, if there are people who are educated and talented and creating jobs, the data shows for every H-1B visa holder that comes in, he or she creates 1.7 jobs for Americans here. I want job creations, I want innovators, I want new opportunities for America.” Cruz was asked about Disney’s use of H-1B visas to replace US workers who were forced to train their replacements, he stated that he didn’t know the facts of the Disney case, so he couldn’t comment.

Okay genius, if Trump is intertwined with the Clintons on illegal immigration, why does Ted Cruz ‘fully support’ him? Either Ted Cruz is an idiot or you are so FOS that your teeth are brown.

As Rush as effectively articulated today, if Trump were not in the race and so willing to take a pounding from every progressive (including you) illegal immigration would not even be on the radar...thus we’d be assured of business as usual. What’s obvious to most, seems to fly right over your wig.

On the upside, you are allowing me to slowing make a fool out of you (or educate you).

I have to make one correction: Your head is full and tightly packed with dog excrement.

Cruz is not going to support The Trumpet in any way.

Sad that you can’t figure it out.

I wish he'd shut up about his H1B visa plan. It's hurts him.

Cruz was asked about Disney’s use of H-1B visas to replace US workers who were forced to train their replacements, he stated that he didn’t know the facts of the Disney case, so he couldn’t comment.

To be honest with you, I do not believe that Cruz has not heard of the Disney case. If he's talking about the "legal write-up", then he should have said that. As it was, he made it sound like this is the first he's heard of it.

"He needs to be ‘Educated’ on the H1B problem and that stand can be changed."

Wake up, he's already been educated and told flat out that the only way to get the money aristocracy the democrat fascists have relied on for so long away from the democrat fascist party is to push H1B and a number of other things that have sucked money out of the middle class and into the hands of the wealthy.

Come on, do you really think that the same elite bloodsuckers who have had it all their way since Clinton care about what the USSC does, that there are riots in the streets, or that more people are in the Foodstamp breadlines than were in the great depression bread lines?

No, they care about their money making gears meshing with their governing gears so the whole machine works perfectly on their behalf.

Any candidate who doesn't publicly kiss their butt in one way or another is a candidate who can't raise money. So, how's Ted doing in the fund raising department, just scrimping by?

You seem to be the only LIV that doesn’t know that Cruz supports Trump on illegal immigration. Either you are a liar or you IQ is even lower than many of us thought.

Thanks for your little lecture...NOT.

Live with your fantasy that there is one perfect non-GOPe candidate out there and when you don’t find that one perfect candidate I know you won’t push for the nearest to a true conservative over a GOPe candidate because they won’t be perfect. I know that you can be counted on not to vote at all or you’ll vote for the democrat to make a pointless point.

Either commit to whomever the best true conservative might be or if you have given up altogether consider the alternative which would be a true second rebellion to reestablish the Constitution.

Barring either of those two possibilities, find a cave and stay out of the way.

So, you're Ok with Ted wanting to raise the number of H1-B Visas from 60,000 (a farce, it's actually around 75,000 when pending applicants and "critical" extensions are considered) to over 350,000 (which would in reality be 500,000) ?

Interesting. I'm glad you cleared that up by avoiding the issue and posting snark.

Apparently, you neglected to read the posted article or you wouldn't have made a fool of yourself by posted such a nasty remark to tatown and a completely false statement about Senator Ted Cruz.

So is this another case of Ted being ‘FOR’ H1B’s before he gets a clue and turns against it like he did TPP?

I’ve tried to find his ‘conditions’ for increasing H1B’s. So far I can’t find anything to indicate there are ‘conditions’ on Cruz’s support for increasing H1B’s by 500%.

All I know is that my company is about to lay off IT staff in droves to replace with Infosys/Tata - and Cruz is taking Silicon Valley contributions to the bank.

So - why don’t YOU go find it and prove that your man is not a shill for Zuckerberg and the like as he appears to be...like he was a shill for TPP before conservatives exposed it for what it was and he got a clue and changed his stance. SELL me on Cruz - because as of right now, I see a candidate who licks his finger and throws it into the wind to see which direction the establishement wants him to go...which explains his intial direction on TPP and this issue.

I think I may have found the purported ‘conditions’: see post #47.

Why does Cruz have so much more class than many of his alleged supporters? One can't help but wonder if the GOPe is paying people to claim to support Cruz while spewing bile.

“You do realize that Ted Cruz also stated a considerable list of conditions on his support for increasing H-1B visas?”

None of which are enforceable. None. They don’t enforce the H-1B laws as it is. Companies flagrantly force employees to train their H-1B replacements. They’ve been doing this for decades.

Here is his own website. I don't see any conditions there that help keep American workers from being Disney'd. Link
