Donald Trump appears to have deleted a tweet he quoted that made questionable comments about Jeb Bush and his wife.
On July 4th, Trump quoted another users tweet which claimed to know why Bush likes “Mexican illegals.”
The tweet appeared to be live for 24 hours before Trump deleted it. Bush’s wife, Columbia, is Mexican.
Bush responded to Trump’s comments about Mexican immigrants being rapists and drug lords over the weekend.
“I don’t think he represents the Republican Party, and his views are way out of the mainstream of what most Republicans think.”

Trump implied that Jeb's wife - a native of Mexico - likely has disproportionate influence over Jeb's view of all things south of the U.S. border. Blinding flash of the obvious, IMO - but where exactly is the insult?

It's a package deal - with Obama, you get Michelle - remember "I've never been proud of my country until today". We are electing a first lady. I'm not a big fan of George Bush but Laura Bush was a very classy first lady. And she had the President's ear, "no child left behind", you know that came from her.
I was referring to the poster suggesting she was a mail order bride. Although many posters here seem to think its appropriate to insult her.
Trump spoke the harsh truth. That harshness makes it easier for his enemies to attack him and push him to the sidelines.

I agree. Bush likes to pretend he's Hispanic. The news reported he even listed his race as Hispanic on a legal document (I forget which one. I'm not voting for Bush anyway)

I can't help but love the guy for that. He does have something no other candidate other than Cruz has - he offers something to vote FOR!
I’m not a big fan of JEB! But I don’t think his wife should be a major factor either way. Especially a wife who apparently isn’t very interested in public life.
It is kind of a low blow, but there’s no denying that Bush’s personal life has given him a strong affinity for Mexico and a bias in favor of policies that favor illegal immigration and Mexican national interests.
We’re electing a President, not a First Lady. Sounds like this one will stay out of the public spotlight, so that’s a plus.I must be the only one she's begging for money then. Twice

In seriousness, because it reflects Jebs own admissions. They don’t even speak english in their house. That being the ase I have to believe that his wife greatly influences his positions.
If a wife does not influence a husband and a husband a wife, then something is very very unique about that arrangement. It’s just human nature for that to happen. When you add up the positions he has taken in support of illegals that fly in the face of reason, that influence is coming from somewhere. I admit openly the Money of the COC and others plays a big role. But I cannot imagine that his living situation is not a contributing factor.
As such, if the COC and related people are in bounds, so is his wife, the potential First Lady.
Whats incorrect about that tweet. Of course Jebbie is hot for Mexicans because his wife is Mexican and his kids are half Mexican. He has to stand up for them.
