Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney Join Marco Rubio In Attacking Donald Trump Over Immigration
Breitbart ^ | 07/04/15 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 07/04/2015 11:00:24 PM PDT by Enlightened1

As if right on cue after Romney and Rubio, Bush on Saturday afternoon joined the coordinated parade of establishment Republicans attacking Trump.

“I don’t think he represents the Republican Party, and his views are way out of the mainstream of what Republicans think,” Bush said Saturday afternoon in New Hampshire. “No one suggests that we shouldn’t control our borders – everybody has a belief that we should control our borders. But to make these extraordinarily ugly kind of comments is not reflective of the Republican Party. Trump is wrong on this.”

Trump has been harsh on Bush, Rubio and Romney. When Romney was flirting with a third run for the White House earlier this year, in an interview with Breitbart News and a news conference on his private jet in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Trump called Romney a failure.

“I was right in 2012. I said we don’t have a strong candidate, but we had Mitt Romney,” Trump said. “We went with Mitt Romney and he failed. He let us all down, to be honest with you. For him to be running again is outrageous.”

“He failed,” Trump repeated. “He should have won. [The Obama administration] is a failed presidency. [Obama] is a failed president, and [Romney] should have won, but he lost.”

I have no illusions about Trump. I personally don’t think he’ll stay in or that I’d vote for him in a primary.

But I do think he is saying some things that very badly need to be said and I encourage it. He is forcing the real RINOs to declare their colors very early in the game.

People are funny. They prattle on for years saying they hate illegal immigration and trade that is bad for the U. S.

Then you get a man who addresses these issues on point, tells it like it is brutally honestly and these same folks rather than say they don’t care for him but he’s exactly right, they just simply fall on the floor kicking and screaming and seek to draw all the attention in the room to themselves instead of good policy.

I’m not even convinced Trump’s policy is solid, but the man is focusing on the number one and two problems facing this nation, and he’s doing in a manner that demands attention from the media.

Everyone in the nation today is talking about illegal immigration because one man put a spotlight on it.

The thanks he gets is for some folks who consider themselves to be Conservatives to trash him non-stop.

This would be comical enough in and of itself, but these same folks just love Ted Cruz. They say they really respect him. The absolutely incredible thing is, Cruz - their go to hero’s take on Trump.

He doesn’t trash him for being a Leftist. He says Trump is exactly right. SAY WHAT?

Yep, Cruz backs Trumps emphasis on Illegal immigration.

FReepers who love Cruz and hate Trump have steam coming out their ears on the subject of Trump. These people hate the man with a passion. They can’t talk civilly about him. They can’t talk academically about him. He’s got horns and a tail according to them.

So do they really respect Cruz or not? I mean gee folks, if you truly do hate Trump this much and are convinced he’s next to Satan, how does this affect your appreciation for Cruz?

If Cruz is this clueless, considering how you see Trump, doesn’t this disqualify Cruz for you as a man who truly grasps Conservatism?

Think about that! Really sit back and think about it.

The list of dastardly things Trump has done is miles long. “Why any Conservative should know!” These people have so demonized Trump, that there can only be one verdict for anyone who actually thinks he makes sense on a subject. I’ve had this explained to me here in no uncertain terms.

Okay folks, if that’s how you feel, then when Cruz says he agrees with Trump, he can’t be someone you can follow any longer. Just scratch him right off your list big mouths.

If a guy can say one good things about Trump, he’s not a true Conservative. That’s what you’ve been implying to me.

So be true to your core beliefs folks. Cruz is out. Who are you going to back now?

Trump is right. Cruz is right to back his play on illegal immigration.

Thinking people will grasp what I just touched on.

Those who can’t will continue to act like the children they have been acting like for the last week.

Ted Cruz is a good man, and I think he deserves the respect these people will show no one else who actually thinks like Ted does.

Still, if they’re as anti-Trump as they say they are, I can’t stop them for hating Cruz now. I’ll just think they are about as stupid as they have shown themselves to be over the last week here.

And Ted Cruz would be shocked to know it.

FReepers are supposed be thinkers and a cut above.

Maybe that’s true, but we are still left with a whole passel of candidates who for some odd reason think that an unchecked flood of illegal immigration is a winning campaign issue.

Are they stuck with exploding local education budgets and abysmal testing and gradation rates sinking our schools from the English as a second language bunch? Do they have to deal with the crime in their neighborhoods? Drugs? No, see all they see are the representatives of the best possible face on illegal immigration. I mean, it must be, what else could make sense? So sure, Trump is taking advantage of a severe disconnect, the question we should be asking is why the disconnect?

Gosh, then I guess Ted Cruz is someone we can’t support.

He actually backed the immigration presentation by the man you call Strump.

Aren’t you proud of yourself. And aren’t you embarrassed by this man Cruz.

Pointing to a man like Perot who backed out of the presidential race after he became the leader, is not exactly a good example of a third party run.

In a way he was, because people had pretty much signed on to him when he went postal.

Who knows if he would have won or not? Ross made sure nobody would. Nobody wanted Bush again. Not very many people wanted Clinton either.

When Ross pulled out claiming his daughter’s wedding was at risk, a gasp went out across the land, and his numbers cratered in about 24 hours.

That does not have to be the model for a third party run, but I’m not interested in voting for Trump on a third party ticket.

It is amazing to me to watch folks come unglued because they are so terrified of a man that was frank with the American public, the first one to actually touch on the subject in terms we use here on this very forum.

Oh me oh my. We can’t have that can we.

it’s great now Trump can play the victim. Macy’s NBC “why do they attack me about illegal aliens that kill and rape innocent people.” here are the stats...

Take a break.

Let's hope none of the big names go third party. Then we all lose and Hillary will be anointed.
Trump is saying what we all know to be true.
Whether or not he is for real remains to be seen.
Words are great but deeds make the man.

This paragraph is a perfect example of why Trump is on the rise while bushrubiochristieromneypataki etal are stuck in the draining of the toilet bowl with the rest of the turds.

Build the damn wall, put armed guards on the borders and deport illegals, all 11, 15, 20, 25 or 30 million of the rat bastards.

If you don't belong here, GTFO.

If you sneaked in over the border or if you just overstayed your visa, you don't belong here, get out and do it the right way.

Don't cry about wanting a better life, everyone does and there are people waiting in line to get in legally, who cries for them?

he toyed with supporting the insane secret trade deal

He did support giving Hussein virtual plenary powers for dealing with Iran. I am still ambivalent because of that and that it took pressure from the right to have make him back away from the trade thing.

The truth is the overwhelming majority of Americans, even legal Latino immigrants want this disaster stopped yesterday. I can’t help but believe that the number is so overwhelming that it will reflect in an actual, valid and legal vote. This is why we can’t have one however...

We’ve got plenty of semi-mindless supporters of X candidate. The price to become a FReeper is $0.00. Any hack or paid blogger can join and spout off. Their comments usually betray their agenda. They rarely have any meaningful impact, other than to be nuisances.

I had some harsh words for trump and I was wrong. Never did I think he would serve his nation so courageously at the risk if his fortune. Again, I was wrong. If he continues on this path he will surely reep financial consequences but he will have a supporter for life. And his name, with this risk, would be recognized along with those before him who risked their fortunes for the cause of liberty. Let’s see how far he takes is before I add their names to posts with his.
