Franklin Graham’s word is respected worldwide, through his work with Samaritan’s Purse and the organization his father founded, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and now he’s begun warning America of God’s looming judgment.
Because of the nation’s adoption, through its Supreme Court, of mandatory recognition of same-sex marriage across the states.
“Our nation will not like what’s at the end of this rainbow,” he wrote this week.
“‘Pride goeth before a fall.’ Supreme Court Justice [Antonin] Scalia used Proverbs 16:18 in his comments regarding the court’s disappointing and dangerous ruling about same-sex marriage,” Graham wrote. “He rightly called the decision ‘a threat to the American democracy.’ This is so true. Arrogantly disregarding God’s authority always has serious consequences.”
Graham has millions following his comments and routinely gets hundreds of thousands of “likes” and tens of thousands of “shares” for his postings.
He has commented several times on the court’s ruling Friday, which immediately generated forecasts of persecution coming in America to citizens whose beliefs disallow homosexuality.
His comments included a blast at President Obama.
“The president had the White House lit up in rainbow colors to celebrate the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage. This is outrageous – a real slap in the face to the millions of Americans who do not support same-sex marriage and whose voice is being ignored.
“God is the one who gave the rainbow, and it was associated with His judgment. God sent a flood to wipe out the entire world because mankind had become so wicked and violent,” he wrote.

I'd argue that judgment has been coming at least since the nation’s adoption, through its Supreme Court, of legalized abortion:

I try not to put much stock in coincidences as signs and omens, but it is particularly striking, if nothing else, that the sodomites chose for their symbol, the sign which God used when he said that He would never again destroy the entire world by flood again. He didn’t say it wouldn’t be destroyed by other means. Sodom and Gomorrah particularly were destroyed by fire. The sodomites don’t believe it/scoff at it, but they are just about daring God to bring on the destruction He has promised in prophecy to pour out on the earth in the last days, which will only make most humans even more defiant and reprobate in their reactions. Sodomites are exactly the people of whom God said that He would turn them over to their reprobate minds, to their own sin and wickedness, and they are shaking their fists in God’s face by co-opting the symbol He used as a sign of His promise to never again destroy the world by flood.
A close read of Romans 1 shows that homosexuality is itself a form of judgment from God.
That was well-said, and the exact same can be said of the official recognition, by the nation through our representatives and the members of the court which they approved, that this official recognition of sodomites is what brings God’s judgement upon the US as a nation, rather than what was an individual sin before, though one increasingly “tolerated” (celebrated, promoted) by society. This nation got the official recognition which society had already sanctioned, including by so-called Christian leaders, and this official recognition is what is going to bring God’s judgement and the removal of His protection and blessing of the US as a formerly Christian-founded and based nation, upon the US. I believe that this was the last straw, considering that God considers such recognition of this sin to be a kind of Rubicon, triggering that judgement.
Don’t worry the destruction will come, according to Jesus, by fire and disease.
Whatever the supreme court thinks, same-sex weddings cannot rise to the level of sanctity of holy matrimony between a man and a woman vowing fidelity before God.
But like all things from Satan, it is counterfeit. The gay rainbow has 6 colors. The real one has 7.
Probably not yet. There are some prophetic shoes yet to drop before the Lord is on the scene...

I went by at least 5 churches this past weekend that all had “God Bless America” on their marquees. America spit in God’s face this past week. He cannot and will not bless sin.
IMHO, a wake-up call was sent on 9/11 and it was not heeded. In 2008, America wrappd herself in a dark mantel of evil by chosing the ways of Satan over God. The beginning of Judgement has come to America and will progressively get worse as God remains true to His Word. How bad will it get? Probably worse than any of us can even imagine. It’s not IF, but WHEN will that big old “Sodom & Gamorrah” hammer drop? Regretfully, I fear that the America we all grew up in gone; lost; finished. This thing we live in today is evil and similar to ancient Rome. It’s going down. It will soon be lock and load, folks.
