NBC has severed all ties with Donald Trump after his insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants.
"At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump," the network said in a statement. "To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC. In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett's United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue."
During the speech where he announced his run for the presidency, Trump said, "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best .... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists."

I find Trump to be a grandstanding opportunist who says what he things the audience wants to here, and rasher doubt his views on immigration are sincerely held.
This is like some conservative’s brief infatuation with Joe Lieberman all those years ago. Yes it is refreshing to see a liberal come to his senses a bit, criticize his own side and talk up the right. “Refreshing and honest” they say, and just for a minute forget that Trump, like Lieberman before him, have only inched a half-step away form the left on a handful of issues.

The illegal mexicans will vote in large numbers (now that SCROTUS acknowledges the long-standing belief of most on the Left that illegal mexicans ... and negroes, too ... lack sufficient intelligence and/or enough motivation to obtain IDs to show at the polling place) for the socialist democrat (i.e., any Democrat) because despite what SCROTUS and the Left think of them, illegal mexicans aren't stupid. They didn't flee from their garbage dump of a government because of socialism, they fled because the mexican form of socialism is running out of other people's money.

Remember the disappearing Romney after the first debate? He would not bring up the subjects on which Obama was most vulnerable. Was that theatre, too? Was almost like he really did not want to win.
