‘Black’ Rachel Dolezal: Whites shouldn’t discuss racism
The College Fix ^ | June 18, 2015 | Dave Huber

Posted on 06/21/2015 3:48:00 PM PDT by QT3.14

As if the case of Rachel Dolezal couldn’t get any sillier, anti-racism activist Tim Wise says that the “black” former NAACP chapter president once “tried to stop him from speaking” at Eastern Washington University because … “white folks can’t speak with any legitimacy to issues of racism.”

Dolezal was a part-time professor at the college.

“white folks can’t speak with any legitimacy to issues of racism.”

Oh.

So lets talk about something else like say...how and why did OJ Simpson get away with murdering his ex-wife?

If we can’t talk about it I guess we shouldn’t pay for it either. What a stupid hose brain.

She got away with it because, by black standards, she was “cute.” And probably didn’t use “eubonics,”

she got away with her con because she was telling the most racist black people what they wanted to hear. in a lot of ways she was a caricature of a black studies professor.

“How did she get away with this con job for so long?”

You know, I’ve been thinking about that question. I look at her photos and say, “That’s a white woman”. However, I believe we have become so conditioned in a PC world that anyone daring to question if someone is really “black” immediately becomes a racist for asking it. Granted, the “colorings” of black people vary but come on! I personally believe if her parents didn’t come out and say she was white.. she’d still be playing this con. She’d still be getting away with it, too.

I don't believe that others that dealt with her didn't notice the horrible sprayed on tan. I think it was a case of "the emperor's new clothes". No one wanted to be the first one to point to this hideous creature and say WTH.

And now, because it went on for so long, they are defending her RACIST behavior because no one wants to admit that they were stupidly complicit for letting it go on for so long.

Come on, she may as well have dressed up like Al Jolson in black face and sang Mammie.

She is what she is. Whats truly staggering here is how anyone can take this woman seriously. Going so far as to make her a college professor but then again, given the state of higher education in America anything is possible.

This book (found in my local library) is about a white man, a highly-regarded explorer/surveyor in the 1870s and later, who passed as black. He was pure WASP, old New England stock, but in his travels he developed a taste for "ethnic" women. Wandering around Harlem, claiming to be a railroad porter (high-status work for a black man), he met a young woman from the South, married her, and had several children.

Even at that time, it was understood that you couldn't tell who was "black" by their appearance.

Another interesting illustration is Belle DaCosta Greene (real name, Belle Greener), a woman from an old free-black family who was the founding curator of the J.P. Morgan Library. She claimed she had some Portuguese ancestry, but that was bosh.

Yeah... I guess the term “passing” has been around. I did work with a guy who looked white (I’d say Italian or Greek descent) but was biracial. However, with today’s information/technology, I am sort of shocked that suspicions didn’t lead to a revelation prior to her parents coming out.

What was interesting about the first book was that he found extremely desirable advantages to pretending he was black, just as Rachel Dolezal did. And this was in a time when there were very serious social and economic disadvantages to being black, as opposed to its being a positive benefit, at least in the “intellectualoid” class.

You often can’t tell much by looking at people. When we lived in California, people thought my mother was Chicano or Indian, but she was Irish. After we moved back East, people thought my brother was Jewish.

It's just.... I dunno... staggering. This woman is NOT black but she's getting away with it. I'll tell you Geron, the last six years have been a nightmare that won't stop. I don't recognize this country anymore. It's gone nuts....
