Favors to foundation donors date back to Hillary’s Senate days (greedy Clintons hijack US govt)

Hillary began helping Bill's fat cats in the US Senate. Earmarks and legislative action benefited Clinton Foundation benefactors. Then Sen-Clinton’s efforts to provide favors to major donors......and to advance her own political ambitions.....stretch back far earlier than the avalanche of news reports about her tenure as America’s top diplomat at the US State Dept. Records show her efforts date back to the time she served as a US senator. She used US govt power to earmark federal funds and influence legislation for donors.

<><> Mrs. Clinton introduced a bill when she was New York’s junior senator that allowed a donor to the Clinton Foundation to use tax-exempt bonds to build a shopping center in Syracuse, New York, public records show.

<><> She also went to bat for Freddie Mac, working to defeat legislation that would have subjected the mortgage giant to tougher regulations before the housing bubble burst and led to a major recession. That same year, Freddie Mac donated $50,000 to $100,000 to her husband’s charity, originally called the William J. Clinton Foundation.

<><> Then-Sen Clinton also used her leverage to help persuade the Chinese government to reduce tariffs on Corning Inc.’s fiber optic products. The central New York company’s employees and executives contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to her campaigns and political action committee.

Analysts on political money have said the pattern of Mrs. Clinton’s intervention on behalf of donors to her husband’s charity raise troubling ethical questions. "It seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons,” Bill Allison, a senior fellow at the Sunlight Foundation, a government watchdog group, told the New York Post in April after conflict-of-interest reports started surfacing between the Clinton Foundation and Mrs. Clinton’s political work. --SNIP--

WASHINGTON TIMES NEEDS TO DIG DEEPER There's an unwritten rule in Congress----"one hand washes another"...meaning you vote for my legislation, I'll vote for yours. So who washed Hillary's hands? Which Senators voted on her initiatives to profit herself and Foundation donors?

Looks like the "personable" Hillary made great friends while in the US Senate (/snix).

Then-US Sen Clinton and then-Sen Corzine.

EXHIBIT ONE Corzine was fresh out of Goldman Sachs executive suite, buying his NJ Senate seat office for $65 million; then buying the NJ governorship. Out of office, he ran a hedge fund where $1.5 B went missing....that employed both Bill Clinton and then-Secy of State Hillary's top aide Huma Abedin.

EXHIBIT TWO When Chelsea Clinton's husband started a hedge fund, he gained access to investors who had ties to the Clintons and to Goldman Sachs. Back in 2011, Mezvinsky, now 37, and two former Goldman Sachs'ers — Bennett Grau and Mark Mallon — began raising money for Mezvinsky's Eaglevale Partners LP hedge fund.

Some of Mezvinsky's investors included Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein. Blankfein, a slavish Democrat supporter, said he had "always been a fan of Hillary Clinton."

The WSJ reported extensively on the hedge fund's underperformance since its inception and Mezvinsky's mediocre investing and strategizing.

EXHIBIT THREE Then-US Sen Jon Corzine (D-NJ), used his office to pass a special tax exemption for a Japanese bank he owned----his Goldman Sachs crony, Christopher Flowers---adminstrator of Sen Corzine's "blind trust"--- used Corzine's assets to takeover the Japanese bank.

LAUGH BREAK Corzine later said he "did not know" the legislation he sponsored "benefited" him. What other deals did Corzine make w/ with his fellow Senators to get the tax bill passed?

EXHIBIT FOUR Secy of State Hillary gave dual status to her top aide---Huma Adedin worked at State AND also worked as a consultant, One of her Clients was Teneo---where Bill Clinton was collecting $50,000 per month through his Teneo advisory firm.

Teneo was hired by MF Global’s former CEO Jon S. Corzine to improve his image and to enhance his connections with Clinton’s political family, said an ex employee, who asked that his name be withheld because he feared retribution. The Teneo contract with MF Global lasted at least five months, the souce said. “The board cancelled it after Corzine resigned.”

The source, who is no longer associated with MF Global, said Teneo is a dual-track company with one side devoted to merchant and investment banking and the other side set up to provide image and strategy consulting services. Clinton is the chairman of the company’s advisory board. (hat tip Human Events)

Tracing the missing State Dept $6 billion should be fairly easy---even w/ the cunning Clintons multiple laundry machines.

When he finally went to jail, investigators found Ponzi king, Bernie Madoff, had stashed billions offshore---into a labyrinth of financial entities. Some $8.9 billion was funneled to Madoff through a dozen so-called funds based in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America......a labyrinth of hedge funds, management companies and service providers that was structured to look like perfectly legal.

The IRS accepts "losing money" as a tax write-off. Although he was jailed for running a Ponzi scheme for 25 years, Madoff's usefulness was helping billionaire tax-exempt foundations launder money and evade taxes..... likewise Clinton.

Several state and federal agencies the Clintons listed as donors told news outlets they did not contribute to the Clinton Foundation. <><> EPA said there's no record of donations to the Clinton Foundation. <><> The “Office of Minority Health and Human Services,” is listed but it's not clear what this donation referred to, or even which federal or state office it came from. <><> The Arkansas Dept of Human Services received a donor "gift receipt" but said they never expended money for gifts to the foundation.
