Vice President President Joe Biden announced the passing of his son, Beau Biden, in a statement released by the White House.
"It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life," reads the statement from Vice President Biden.
"The entire Biden family is saddened beyond words. We know that Beau’s spirit will live on in all of us—especially through his brave wife, Hallie, and two remarkable children, Natalie and Hunter.

Have you read all the comments on this thread? As of 7:50 pdt a whole bunch of hate directed at a family who just lost a son, husband and father. A man who served his country and died very young. Not sure what purpose it serves to spit out vile words for the passing of a man just because we disagree with his political views or the political views of his father. But a lot of Freepers apparently feel it is ok to write hateful comments about the passing of an American veteran.

Terrible for the poor guy to lose another child, he lost a young daughter and his first wife in a car wreck and I think it made him crawl into a bottle and almost quit politics.

Yeah, it was known. He’d been in and out of the hospital in recent years, but expected he’d beat it. He was planning to run for DE Governor next year.

This is not to show any disrespect to Beau Biden and the loss of his life so young...that is very sad, and I offered my sympathy in a previous post...
Just thought this is something Joe will use, as he did his first wife and young daughter's death, He has certainly known tradgery in his life time..that is for sure/

prayers for the family , 46 is so young and I lost my brother at 59 and thought that was too young. The family must be devastated.
