Have you read all the comments on this thread? As of 7:50 pdt a whole bunch of hate directed at a family who just lost a son, husband and father. A man who served his country and died very young. Not sure what purpose it serves to spit out vile words for the passing of a man just because we disagree with his political views or the political views of his father. But a lot of Freepers apparently feel it is ok to write hateful comments about the passing of an American veteran.

I am willing to bet that none of those who posted those comments have lost a child. Those of us who have would wish it on no one, and sympathize with all who have.
But there’s a whole lot more kind statements of prayer and condolences.
A handful of comments have been removed. That’s not “a whole bunch of hate” by “a lot of Freepers”. That’s a few uncouth people shooting their mouths off. The vast majority of comments have been very respectful.
