MAD does not work with them — they WANT to die. Sadly, it does not take all thay many nukes to kill millions.

What's so sad about that?...Millions of them want to die...we have plenty of nukes

You’re right.

I should have said “The barbarians on the other end of his BlackBerry had it planned from the start”.

The Kemalists used to rule Turkey. They made sure the military crushed Islamism under its heel.

Eventually the regime was infiltrated and now the AKP is promoting an Islamic state.

Your memory is correct. Saudis paid for Pakistan nukes, and those nukes are in Pakistan because different Saudi factions don’t trust each other with their control.

From 2013, for example, there was a spate of stories:

So much for a nuclear non proliferation. Obama is making things much worse.

So this probably won’t be a “bomb” as in a gravity bomb, but a warhead? If Iran has S-300s, it is unlikely a fighter like an F-16 armed with a gravity bomb would be able to penetrate? Or is the low level/loft toss still effective in this situation? I would guess more likely a Scud type short/medium range missile.

"President Pretentious Ignoramus has set off a nuclear arms race in the most unstable region of the world."

A race that no one will win, and everyone will lose. God help us.

People get stuck and confused when they apply too much literalism to Revelation. The Revelation needs to be read through allegorical eyes, with many of its events occurring in parallel, and with literal events (e.g. the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D.) casting far deeper, larger, and broader shadows both in time and in the spiritual world.

The Thousand Year Reign is now, the time between Christ's ascension and his return.

I think that’s a fair assumption. When journalists say “bomb” they mean a nuclear or thermonuclear warhead.

I think the Pakistan problem goes beyond just what Bush did or didn’t do. I agree that ultimately Pakistan will have to be dealt with, but if you think Bush had a hard time getting support for Afghanistan and Iraq, a war to disarm Pakistan would have been almost impossible to gain approval for. The will of the American people just wasn’t and unfortunately, still isn’t there to fight this enemy the way it needs to be fought.

Who do you think financed the Pakistani nuclear research? Financed with no rights to the product?

The sad part is that before the die, they will likely kill millions of others.

True, but with Shia Iran getting the bomb, the Sunnis are sure going to get one, too. I suspect that they have already done the deal with Pakistan.

“The Saudis are nowhere near as crazy as the Iranians. They have a life of luxury to live for. If they feel threatened and they think they must fire first to continue living, they will.”

The Saudi Royal Family owns enough global real estate and foreign currency/precious metals to be quite comfortable living the life as a diaspora should their empire of sand become uninhabitable.
