Auburn woman files federal case against homosexuals
Lincoln Journal Star ^ | 5/6/15 | Lori Pilger

Posted on 05/06/2015 4:38:30 AM PDT by DoodleDawg

An Auburn woman calling herself an ambassador for God and his son, Jesus Christ, filed a federal lawsuit Friday against all homosexuals.

Sylvia Driskell, 66, said in the suit that she is petitioning the U.S. District Court of Omaha to be heard "in the matter of homosexuality. Is homosexuality a sin, or not a sin?"

In a seven-page letter framed as a lawsuit, she cited Bible passages that described homosexuality as an abomination and against nature, and she said never before has the nation or the state been "besiege(d) by sin."

"Will all the judges of this nation judge God to be a lier [sic]?" Driskell asked.

She said she petitioned the court because she feels it imperative to stand up for the moral principles on which the nation was founded.

It’s really quite simple

there is no one or no organization willing to pony up the money to fight the costly battle

I thought about suing Adam and Eve. Their actions have made life difficult for all of us.

I don’t think this will be helpful.

I’m waiting for the Biology teacher who gets prosecuted/persecuted for teaching the self-evident fact that Nature selected HETEROsexual procreation for humans and not the mutual masturbation selected by reprobate abominators of Nature.

“Now you can’t even watch a horse race w/o having their “lifestyle” trust in your face.”

Yeah. A lot here in KY were very pissed about this. Next time they’ll have the guy riding a horse, but not saddled or on its back. But it will all be “brave and courageous”.

I didn’t know there is an Aburn, NE, but just read of it on Wikipedia. I have heard of Kimball, where I broke down for four days in 2001.

In a secularized society, this sounds ridiculous. Why, even the Ten Commandments sounds ridiculous in our society. Judgment Day draws near.

While I applaud her effort, her methodology is faulty. This will be tossed. She needs to use equality laws, those created for these “minorities,” to prove her point.

I'm not really sure what her point is. Is she looking to the courts to rule homosexuality is a sin?

I do NOT want American courts deciding what is and is not a “sin”. The question is above their pay grade.

And "thus saith the LORD":

(2 Chron. 19:4-7, KJV)

4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.
5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,
6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
7 Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

---- Of course, when we effectively ceased being a nation that paid heed to God and His Word, the judges that we have seated over us will listen to every deceitful doctrine that further pulls the public opinion further into God's wrath and away from the Word that saves our souls:

(Psalms 2:1-5, KJV)

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

----- Unlike the fickleness of human opinion on what is and is not sin, God's stand does not change, nor does the penalty for sin (death) change for those who reject the truth.
