South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is expected to announce a presidential bid, says if the Supreme Court rules same-sex marriage bans unconstitutional, then it will be time for Republicans to move on. Graham told Boston Herald radio on Monday that society is changing and a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and woman is no longer possible. “Well, can you be for traditional marriage? Yes. Am I for traditional marriage? Yes, I believe marriage has stood the test of time between a man and a woman, ordained by God, and that’s — most societies have been organized around that concept,” Graham said.

Doesn’t matter what the court rules - they have no “standing” to make such a call. Marriage was ordained as being between a man and a woman loooooong before governments were instituted among men. A ruling on this means absolutely nothing.
Nothing against the Air Force but Graham is no grunt. Just another spineless go along to get along kind of guy.
The one bright side of the Supreme Court passing gay marriage is that maybe Lindsey can finally get married, settle down and retire.

Sure Lindsey, but we already know that the GOPe stands for absolutely nothing. That’s why it’s laughable that they’ve been suckering in true conservatives with their rhetoric “opposing” Roe v Wade for decades. You’ve given in on so many issues now, that the mask is gone and you’re bleeding conservatives. So now you’re going to make the GOP tent so big, that it will mesh with the rat tent, to get voters.
He is no better than the libertarians who argue that the government should have no role in marriage anyway.

I understand Pr0n is protected by the first amendment. I’ve moved on. I don’t fight it in the courts. I just make it clear at every chance it comes up that it’s as disgusting as it ever was. Same here.

Then will be the time to move, because at that time the GOPe leadership will be all set to run their favorite play... speak loudly and complain there is nothing they can do.

I see a different truth in what he says, “time to move on” to me sadly means I see a rift coming in the country. How that plays out I do not know except that we will be pushed farther and farther to preserve this union as it once stood. I see bloodshed as a distinct possibility.
While I am not a fan of gratuitous vulgarity, I believe it does have its place. So....
